Yeah, same here with the laundry. I had to get all of John's done plus all of the towels so he had clean stuff for the week. I have one load drying and another waiting to dry so I have a while. I think I will scrub the bathtub until it's done

I would ask your Dad to take you. That way it is all taken care of and nothing else needs to be done. Either way works but I like to take care of everything...drives DH nuts...but it makes me feel better

If its enterprise they will come get you and that way you don't have to worry about your car or anyone taking Mike or asking your Dad, etc. It's the most convenient.

OMG does he ever look precious!!!! That's the costume I got him last year on clearance! He looks great in it, his face is much too cute for a pirate, we may have to paint a mustache on him to make him look more pirate like, lol.

Today was Geoffrey's Birthday at Toys R US.

Geoffrey the Giraffe was walking around the store and Trent high Fived him. Glad he was not too afraid. Get him ready for those Disney Characters again.



They had coloring and arts and craft and gave out Fireman hats and batman maks. Trent had a good time.

He was not overly fond of the head thing. He is brining all the halloween costumes that we got at Target last year, for 3 dollars a piece on an after sale. He will have 4 colors to choose from. That is what he wants to wear to the parks for the pary

It seems here lately my voice is raised more and more, but i always try to makesure that we NEVER NEVER EVER go to bed angry at each other. That is the rule for all of us DH and I included!!

How are you feeling lately??

If DH and I had that rule, we would never sleep and I'd end up being even MORE angry at him!!

I'm surprised that I still feel nauteous (and worse) and extremely hungry a lot! With DD, I swear it went away in the 2nd trimester.

I go on Tuesday for another test -- according to one of the "Your pregnancy today" emails I got, we can determine sex now! I thought we had to wait until 20 weeks...So I need to see when I really can schedule this! Will be excited to call the baby a or

This shocks me, too to hear others not liking Disney, esp teens. When I grew up (INSERT violins here!), we were fortunate to go every 3 years and let me tell you, that 3rd year was so greatly anticipated!

I read on another board where a Mom had to bribe her 14 year old DD to go to vacation for a week at Disney by (GET THIS buying her a new digital camera!!

is that the first episode like this in the 3 years y'all have been having play group? I"m not really sure what to tell ya 'cept that personally I'd find another play group or maybe do something like a gymnastics group or toddler gym or something like that with my child if it was me. But I'm the type of person that can easily detatch myself from people if they decide to be rude to me or judgemental. Life is too short to worry about what everyone else thinks about decisions that you make that you feel are best for you and your family. I hope you can get the situation resolved in one way or another so you don't have to worry about it any longer.

bonus!! that is awesome that you found all those costumes just in time for halloween. That Snow White costume sounds adorable.

My playgroup update: I told the other playgroup that I would be able to go this week. I think I just need a break from the old playgroup...I won't say I'm dropping out...just need to give it time b/c I am hurt by it (whether right or wrong, it's the way I feel) and figure I need to try something new and catch up on old friends and meet new ones.

Matching socks, what is that

I just put them in the basket in our room and match them as I go...when they get about half empty, that is when I match them and put them away

If I did that, Mike would wear all my socks and stretch them out. YES, he has done that before! He is so lazy about it that he'll reach in and grab any 2 socks. It doesn't matter if they match or even if one of them is mine (and my feet are literally half his size!)

I left him with one load of laundry to do. Just some darks, mostly his stuff, nothing delicate---all can pretty much take a beating.

I can't believe I'm leaving tomorrow!

This is going to sound funny, but it makes me feel very grown up to be going on a business trip. I've been in the professional world for several years, but this just solidifies that I'm a "business woman." I feel like Nikki now

I'm practically all packed. I just have to throw the rest of my toiletries in tomorrow morning (the ones I am gonna use before I leave).

I feel like I packed my whole closet! I wanted to make positively sure that I had enough clothes to wear. I'll be in jeans during the day, and I figured I might want to change into shorts when I get back to the hotel. I also needed weekend clothes, and packed something cute that I can go to a bar in if Trevor and Jenna (that's Mike very best friend and his girlfriend) want to go. Maybe we can go to BWW (Buffalo Wild Wings)...they have free Wii there!

I'm gonna make the best of this. I'm just praying I don't get lost tomorrow!
