This is Gabe Saporta. I wonder if my mom will even read this post :rotfl:

Lovely another obsession. Aren't I lucky?

Nothing that I know of. I guess its just standard tests that they do to get the patients established. I don't know if there's anything in particular that they're looking for.:confused3
OH! Whew what a relief. Ithought this was an extra test cause you were having some problems and since you have enough already I did NOT want you to have anymore. It is good to have everything checked out every now and then just to be sure!:thumbsup2

I'm gonna do it whenever they want to. the pain from the carpal tunnel is so intense and now my hand is freezing in position. It is not a fun experience.

Thank you LeeLee. I see the orthopedic sugon on Friday so I am sure knowing my HMO they will want to get it done soon. Or at least I hope so.

Good to hear they are at soccer practice.....great sport for kids to start out in!!!!! You know UJ coached soccer for years....I miss it.......all my girls either graduated this past spring or are going to in 2009.......Some are playing soccer at smaller colleges......

Tell them uncle John needs to come see them play!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Come on down! :thumbsup2

Hey, thanks for the big pimpin. Do you also take Disney Dollars?:lmao:

::yes::

My day was spent being lazy until it was time to run around. The grocery store which I am not a great fan of myself and then it was time to go buy supplies for my sons science project. He has to make a golf ball travel a meter, set off a mouse trap, put out a candle and make the golf ball go into a cup so I had to get mouse traps and golf balls.

Good Lord! Does he go to some genius school? What grade is he in?

Sorry to hear about your hand Michele!

He is in the seventh grade. His sisters both had to do it too. It's funny to see how different everybodies minds work differently. Thank you.

You arre one busy woman aren't you? I'll keep you guys in my thought.

Well I'm going to have to get off and get some work done. I need to get the inside straightened and then I've got to get on the roof today. Still have limbs and stuff on it and I need to get a tarp over the messed up shingles before it rains.
Oh good news. My ins adjuster called and said to get an appliance man to look at all my appliances. Its all covered on our policy since it was the power surge during and after the Hurricane that caused them to go balooky!!

I will thanks! I helped shingle my nieghbors roof it was fun. My DH thinks I'm crazy to like climbing around on roofs but heres a secret.....

When I was a young teen the best place to get a tan was up on the roof of our storage building. can you imagine 4 girls all laid out on the roof!!:rotfl: We were and still are all extremely modest. No laying out in the yard for everyone to see us in our bathing suits No Sir so we laid on the roof instead!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

O.k I really do have to go. Have a great day and I'll catch up with ya'll in a little while!!!

:goodvibes Have a good day LeeLee!

Seriously, he seemed a lot different this year than he did last year! I swear, men get PMS, too. Its all good, though. I totally know the feeling of not being happy to be on vacation!

Eww, hope that goes away. The headache, not the work. It does suck to go back to work. I took the day off tomorrow. Got lots of laundry and unpacking to do. I got nowhere with that today. On the bright side, I did copy all of my pictures onto the computer.:goodvibes

Somehow I missed this!

Yeah, he was much different this year than last year. I promise he's not like that all the time. He was just in a mood this year for some reason. I agree, men get PMS too! Chris even admitted it once :rotfl: or maybe he was just using it as an excuse :confused3

That's good that you took yesterday off. I hope you got what you wanted done. I haven't even taken a crack at my laundry yet.

Those last two posts were from Trent....he said he had to do his job before he went to bed and put up some smilies:laughing:

:lmao: :lmao: he did a great job

Morning Everyone :upsidedow

Can't believe it's Monday already! I have my lovely one time a year appointment today...:headache: I'm waiting for DH to come home and watch StinkerBelle a little later and I'll be off.

I hope Tat, Cheri and Carla are all ok today. The first Monday after Disney is so hard

Thanks Betsy! Yesterday wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. And today is even easier, just dragging by is all. Hope your appointment went alright yesterday

Good Morning!

Good luck at the DR today. I need to make one of those appointment myself. You're right about the Monday after Disney and I hope they all have a good day.:goodvibes

It actually wasn't as bad this year since I've been back to the "real" world since last Wednesday. Just hadn't been back to work yet till yesterday. It was easy and I'm greatful for that.

Welcome! I know you've been asked already (thanks Carla) so I'll just reiterate that I'd like to know everything she asked about. :rotfl:

I want to go work at Disney!!!

You're welcome :goodvibes

Hi Everybody!!! I missed ya'll!!
Sharky if you've texted me the last several days. My phone split into 2 pieces right after my last text to you!!! I guess it didn't like it!:confused3 :rotfl:

we got home Wed night. Well I guess it was really Thurs morn @ 1 a.m. Power was turned back on tues evening so we thought all was well. AC didn't work and the lights were dim, but we were home in our own beds after a LOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG 12 hour trip with B with Diarea and me throwing up with a migraine. Sooo we just turned on the cieling fans raised the windows and SNOOOZZZEEEDDD in our Own Beds!!!:cool1: 2 hours after we went to bed the phone rang Yes at 4 a.m. It was DHS dialysis center seeing if he could come on in. So after trying to go back to sleep I jumped into my OWN shower and took a nice FREEZING COLD Shower!! What In The World?? As soon as City Hall was open I was on the phone reporting that my meter was still smashed and my lights were going crazy an nothing was working ( Our light company is our City and located at City Hall) They panic and tell me to cut everything off and get out of there. That power came on in my house at half power due to the smashed meter on the house and my house could possibly go into flames if I try to use any power. Then late that evening I get a call from City Hall and was told that we would have to have a licensed electricial come look at the meter and make sure nothing fried in it before they would come fix it!!!! i could just see the money fly.
So that night we spent the night at my sisters who wasnt' home. the next day the electrician came and we were then told by the power co. it would be at least 2 more days before they could come out and even look at it so I got an advance on my emergency ins. Fund. ( they just put it against our claim) and we went to look for a hotel which is impossible to get due to all the people who can't get back to their homes. I then get a call to check my meter. It was fixed!!! Seems the man who was over our home when we built it with Habitat for Humanity pulled some strings and got them to fix it. He said they( the City) are the ones whe medically evacuated us on priority and we were 2 blocks away from them and a meter only took 15 min to fix so we should be on medical priority to have it fixed. So I am home cell phoneless but............................

That totally sucks about the electrical problems but glad you didn't really have any major damage to your house. That was nice that they got your power fixed so quickly when you origionally thought it was going to take quite a while.

No more dial up!!!!:cool1: :dance3: :yay:

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

You could start planning Disneyland like Carla.:goodvibes

Yeah, we already talked about that but it's a no go for most right now *sigh* But at least you and I will be able to have a DIS meet!! :woohoo:

I started working at Disney Aug 06. I was about 3 months shy of 2 yrs. I wouldnt have left Disney for anyone else but wonderful BF. I worked front desk at Pop Century. I'll try posting a pic but i have never done it before. You guys can call me dancin or ChiChi. Doesnt matter. I'm too afraid of needles to try to get a tattoo but i do want one, something to do with stars because i absolutly love stars.
n548520394_43317_7195.jpg

Yup he is great! :lovestruc I tell him all the time and he tells me how much he appreciates me too (that other person never did that:headache: ) When we have money saved up to travel we'll go back for a trip. Hopefully my dad stays working there and i can at least get in for a day trip (if i go down to visit the family and dont have enought to go to the parks my dad will be my backup:thumbsup2 he already knows it)

Speaking of day trips, i wrote a Day report right before i left if any of ya'll want to check it out. the link is in my siggy. Its nothing compared to the other TRs ive read and there arent any pics cause i didnt have a camera with me (go figure:eek: ) but if ur bored feel free to check it out.

Congrats Sharky 23,000 posts!!!:dance3:

That's awesome that you worked at POP. I wonder if you were working the day I checked in last September :rotfl: Now wouldn't that be funny? That is cool that you still have your dad as a back up to disney for a day trip :thumbsup2

As for needles when you get a tattoo....it's nothing compared to a shot or getting blood drawn. I used to have a huge fear of needles too but I finally decided to get over myself and get my first one a few years ago and I now have no problems with needles. A tattoo is more of an annoying pain than a real harsh pain that you can't tolerate.

thanks

thats me when i was happy with my weight...now my chin isnt as skinny:rotfl: :rotfl:

Glad you got the picture posting figured out as we love pictures here! You are very pretty. :goodvibes I think most of us here would love to lose a pound or two  I know I sure would. Maybe I can make my goal to be thin for my 2010 trip to Disneyland  Here's hoping I can afford an elliptical or treadmill soon

WIRELESS DSL!!!

Awesome LeeLee :cool1:

We have minimal damage. Thank God. We have some bungled shingles some limbs on the roof, lots of yard damage but the only inside damage is I lost all my food in the fridge and freezer, my microwave, washer, and oven are not acting right probably because of the power surge and the half power thing and there are now cracks in my bathroom ceiling. no water damage though. we are so blessed. there are so many with no homes, no roof or just really BAd damage. in fact my sister in Orange Tx has to get a new roof Again ( they just got one after Rita and her formal Living Room and my Nephews (the one in the army) room was flooded plus the losing of food etc... also half of their siding is gone. My sister in Chambers Co who has a nice 3000 something square foot brick home has to have it totally redone. Her Kitchen and LR are demolished the ceilings crashed. Their is water in the walls and yes the whole roof is gone. The bad thing is there are NO hotels with rooms so her Dh was driving 4 hours back and forth to work He works on the south side of Houston. they are now staying here at my other sisters house and he is driving 2 1/2 hours and sometimes at his parents house which makes it 1 hr and 45 min. Now the kids are back in school and they are contemplating staying in the one spared BR in their house!!! Their Ins agent has disapeared and they are having to do all their busines with the Ins co. through the main #
Our church needs a new roof on both the Sanctuary and the Fellowship Hall as even the trees tried to seek shelter!!;) Of course in doing that they succeeded in making us a very Airy church!!!;) We were able to have church yesterday. No SS as our upstairs is shot but we did have a good worship service!

Something funny....
Braeton wanted to bring a lunch to school today. Anyone guess what he wanted????

A MRE!! I guess he didn't get enough!!

Awww, I'm so glad that everything is ok

Braeton is too funny :rotfl2:

thanks

You look great! Thanks for posting a pic!

DAAAAAAAAAAAAANG! Thanks for the gazillion pages y'all!

Hi everyone else!!!

Hi Love :wave2:

Thanks, girl I wil let him know

Good times....love that appt

Yeah, the app't was just fine

I'm trying very hard to keep my cool but its so very hard when i look up from the disboards and see grown men walking past the gift shop dressed like a woman...

OMG :scared:

Hi everybody! I am not going to quote anybody tonight. I just did Richard Simmons chat so everything is swimming around in my mind.

Hey! I just saw him on Letterman the other nite and thought of you :thumbsup2 He looks good for his age!

Eww, that appointment sucks! How did it go?

I slept all day!:rotfl:

Yes, I have. Betsy will be the first to see what I got.;)

The app't was just swell :rolleyes1 After giving birth nothing phases me anymore :rotfl2:

Sleeping all day sound so nice right about now!

OMG...what have you sent me  :rotfl2:

this is on a good day with lots of gel, mousse and hairspray otherwise i frizz up too...whenever i get a digital camera i'll take a pic and show u...i'd much rather wear my hair straight though but it only hangs perfectly straight the very 1st day for the very 1st hour

I have naturally curly hair and totally understand you! I love having it straight but one drop of rain or humidity and it's

So, I've been posting on that tag-begging thread for over a week and NUTTIN. :headache:

I'm thinking about starting a "I don't really want a tag thread" and seeing if reverse-psychology works on the tag fairy! :rotfl:

awww, sorry they're being mean  hope you get a good one! I haven't been able to bring myself to post there yet.

:rotfl: you'll have to let us know if that actually works

The question is how are you feeling? I have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on Friday for my right hand.

Oh no is everything ok?

Man, that sounds complicated. I was never a fan of science projects. I always liked the physiology part of science, but the physics, chemistry and biology stuff I hated. I can't wait until my kids have to start doing those kinds of things.

I'm feeling fine thanks. I haven't even had much of a headache, except for last week when that kid kicked me in the wave pool. You don't have to have another surgery, do you?

Hey girl. How was work today? You must be tired. See you later.

I actually wasn't tired but I knew if I started to try and catch up last night it would have been midnight before i got to bed and then I'd be paying for it now so I forced myself to get off the computer. My first day back at work wasn't too bad thanks. Hope your day is going well today

Yeah as a matter of fact I have to have carpal tunnel surgery, but that is a simple out patient kind of thing. I gave myself a severe carpel tunnel doing repetetive motion eercise to recover the use of my hand. I figure that I can't complain too much because I recovered the use of my paralyzed hand and arm because of said exercises. Talk about your run on sentences.

ooooo well, then I'd say that carpal tunnel is worth it for sure if it helped you regain the use of your arm and hand. Luckily they can fix it for you! :goodvibes

The only way I will go back during free dining is with bounceback.....

Have you heard what the are doing to the DDP??? SO far it is already changed for Europeans who come in 2009.....if you stay at value or moderate you wont get a table service credit, you will get 2 counter service credits every day........what BS.......I wont do it......You have to stay at a deluxe or Home away from home to get TS credits on the DDP....I met some people from Europe at our DIS meet who have already been told that......
They said they wont come back on DDP again....they love POR and stay there every year.....

IF you do the bounceback it is supposed to be the same as this year.....

WHAT!? I hadn't heard that!! :scared1: :scared1: That is just outrageous! And I WON'T do it!! That really makes me mad. Now I'm glad I'm not going next year to Disney. As much as I love those parks, the way corporate is jacking things up is REALLY irking me bad!!
