I think it's nice that Loren gets some alone time with you two occasionally and it's good to do things with just him. You can't all sit home and do nothing when the girls go out, that wouldn't be fair. They'll get it sooner later that life does not stop when they go out, lol.

Alone is scary. The thought of having to go into a motel room alone at night is scary to me. And truck stops do have the best food. That's why truck drivers tend to be so overweight. That and they don't have time to exercise.

Yes that is true. It was quite the experience that's for sure. But I did it all by myself and was so proud of myself. I think only one time I was a little scared when I thought someone was following me so I stopped at the next truck stop and after that they kept going so I was fine.

Last March I drove 1322 miles to Sharky's from Louisiana by myself and back a month later. I was laid off from work so I used the opportunity to go and spend time with them. It was well worth it. It was harder to do that as I was about 8 years old than when I did the California ddrive!

Kids are so funny, so afraid that they will miss something, lol. Yes when they go out, you switch gears and you, Scotty and Loren go off and live the high life right? LOL!!!

That's where the planning books come in handy. That and having a friend who knows the Disneyland stuff. There are ways to do this. I looked at the Disneyadventures one too and thought how much I would enjoy it but I think it is way over priced. You know if you are a Costco member there are a couple of nice little things that come with booking through them. Like a free character breakfast and that is about $60 saved there. Where there is a will there is a way and I am here and ready to help. And as far as Kacy and the AF thing she wasn't quite 14 years old at the time and was real embarasssed about it so I didn't know until we were down there. Poor thing.

I got my disneyland UG!! I'm enjoying reading it already. So weird that it's not as thick as the WDW UG I'm loving that I have a Disneyland consultant here too. You are a huge help Chele!

I heard from Cheri, she didn't want to leave but then we already knew that!!! I didn't hear from Nikki today but did last night. It was just great getting to see Nikki again, getting to meet Carla, Cheri and Beana. Living right here is just awesome!

Nikki is now back in Virginia at her sister's. They will leave tomorrow for the drive back to PA.

I have to drag him to hospital, so they can give him the med, and truthfully, I gave him all his meds on his last couple of visits, as they wanted to do it via IV and they stuck him 3 times and could not his vein and I had to tell them to stop now, before harm to them was going to happen

So when I go to the dr on tues, I am going to tell her all that and see what she says

anyone heard from Cheri or Nikki yet today? I think they were supposed to both be going home today

I got a text around 3:30 saying she did not want to come home. They were waiting for their flight at the airport

We went to Wally World and got some odds and ends that we needed as wel as a few ittle things for our trip.

Her sil brought her daugher and her 2 month old over to Cathy's afterward and Trent was in awe of the baby. He had so many questions for her sil, it was a riot

We had fun, we were all tired and got the sillies

I had to work today then come home and shovel landscaping stone so DW and I didnt do anything tonight......just hanging out at home.......I have to stay up till my son gets home from his girlfriends homecoming dance.......(she goes to a different school)......

I'm just hanging out here as well UJ. I went to Wally World earlier for some groceries and picked up a few non perishable items that are for our trip to FW in 17 day! Then we came back and are kind of just hanging here. I did laundry, straightened up, nothing exciting really. Friends are coming over tomorrow evening, we're going to Golden Corral for dinner, then they are hanging out here all evening and staying over night. They live in the northern part of FL and since their vac at WDW starts monday and they don't want to drive back so they'll just stay here since we are only 7 miles from Disney. So we're looking forward to that.:

I wanted to join in on the fun, i figure i might as well introduce myself.

Well im 25 yrs old. I have the best boyfriend in the world. Who is absolutly by far much better than my ex. 4 months ago my BF decided he wanted to move to Milwaukee to be closer to his parents and brothers. After some thought, i decided to leave my homestate of Fl (and my job at Disney ) to be with my one true love. I couldnt imagine not being with BF and losing someone who treated me the way a lady should be treated, like a princess. (and after my previous relationship i knew firsthand that not every guy out there is capable of this ) So here I am, after a few rough months things are finally starting to look up but the whole time things werent looking so well, what kept me sane was that i was with my BF. We are coming up on our 1yr anniversary (shocking that i would move that far in such a new relationship huh) and we both know is just the 1st of many.

Besides that, I love all things Disney (who here doesnt) My fav char are Tinkerbell, Stitch, Eeyore and Jasmine. I love to DIS (again who here doesnt) I love to shop. I love coffee. I worry about my weight but love chocolate and fast food . My fav color is pink and purple. I like anything to do with dance.

So thats me in a nutshell. I hope to make some new friends here

It's gonna cost a pretty penny but I think it will be worth it to see the origional motherland.

wow thanks for the link Chele. I looked and it looks like there are a ton of non disney owned hotels right next to the parks. That's so great! I'll have to do some more research for sure

I just loved the themeing and something bout it just got me.. like my aunt said the grand californian is much more romantic but something about the DL hotel is just fascinating to me.. last time we went was the first time I stayed on site and I loved it but I do remember other trips where we stayed at like motel 6 and stuff and it wasnt bad or a long trip to the parks and stuff like that.. very easy.. from what I remember.. but I was alot younger then.. the trips I rememeber most vividly are the last 2 times I went and we stayed onsite at DL hotel and the time before that I went with my mom and we stayed with a family friend that lived like 45 minutes away.. that was fun..

I did a kind of TR when we got back.. I am not much of a writer.. thats more Auntie.. shes better at painting pictures with words than me but I did post ALLLLLL the pictures I took.. yes alll 500ish..
