Hi everybody!

I am not gonna quote everybody but I am going to comment on a few things. Can we tell I have been ill? I haven't done much Dis in the last few days.

WEll, he told me he had a good day, but I found out otherwise at school

But I had wrote teacher a note letting her know he was on medicine that makes him super hyper, so she chalked it up to that, his crabbiness

He threw a little tantrum when he was not allowed to play with what he wanted and he had to be sat by himself in back of room. After he calmed down, she told him he could come play, but he was stubborn and just sat there

Then, at clean up time, he did not want to clean up and the aide had to walk him around, making him clean up

good times

THe teacher told me she did not tell me as she was afraid I would get upset

I told her, that is okay, she can tell me when he does not behave

Awww, poor Huey. It's tough for them to adjust. It seems like his teacher is very nice! Poor thing... scared to tell you about it!

Hello friends. Just wanted to let you all know Chris and I are on our ay home. Only have about 123 miles before we get there. I'll be posting pictures but I'm not sure if I'll do a full on TR. This has been the worst trip to Disney we've ever had. There were parts that were fun but there's a lot that I don't want to relive either. I just wish it could have been like last year.

Anyways, hope all is well here. I skimmed the last page of posts and wanted to say welcome to the new member of DIS Land. I look forward to getting to know you.

Ahh...I LOVE BB and was THRILLED that DAN won BB and Keesha won the $$$!!! Did anyone see "Baller" and "Matty" from BB9 sitting in the audience??? GREAT FINALE!!!! I loved when the jurors were grilling Dan and Memphis and I loved when Renny took off on Jerry!!!

Biggest Loser was awesome...waiting on Amazing Race and Survivor as well.

A quick stop by ... going to the doc...DD3 got a UTI (poor girl). The meds are helping with the pain but we have to go back for another test.

It is beautiful just the same!!! On Sunday as we entered Main Street in MK, I was busy looking at a CART full of Characters that pulled in behind me....Mickey, Minnie, Mad Hatter, Goofy ..... DH went to sit in that little park right across from the stairs to the train station ..... when I was done taking some pictures I turned to him and then he pointed down Main Street towards the Castle....yup, having been to WDW at least 12 times, we were surprised at the Castle. I am so sure those that have been only to WDW and then go to DL will agree with me!!!

We did not do all that much as we were just walking around mostly to get the feel of DL. My DS and DH did California Screamin' and LOVED IT!!!

I will tell you the EASE of getting back and forth from your car to the Parks and DTD is so much better than WDW. We jumped on that Tram, jumped off at the parking garage and were at our car in no time flat!! That to me is so important after a long, full, sunny day at the Parks....in the World, you could easily wait 30 minutes for any form of transportation to your hotel or car....

Anyway, our new home is DL! And we are not going anywhere for a long time!

That is awesome Kar! I have heard the same thing but still have it on my list to get there someday!!!!

You are right Love if it was the name or title of something yes I would do that. however I took out the names of the people that I worked for doing those things as I didn't want anyone's name on here without their permission. Who knows if any of them are on the DIS or know someone on the DIS, I had their first and last names in my report.

But thank you for the suggestion in case I would have messed up, you'd have helped me fix that. Also thank you for saying it sounded good!

First of all, I offer these suggestions ... and that's all they are. Feel free to use or not. But here's my take.

1. Start all your sentences/phrases in the same manner. Either use past tense or current tense but you want to start with an action verb. That way if someone doesn't read the entire sentence, they still know what you did by reading the first 1 or 3 words.

2. How about deleting the Heidis and Katherines, etc and just stating the job itself? The important thing is the task(s) you are doing and not that you assisted or who you did it with. It sounds stronger by just stating the task.

Assisted Heidi with the labeling of all of the Library Reference Pieces. Organized and identified all Library Reference Pieces with unique labeling system.

Assisted Name goes here by tallying a number of surveys that were given to teachers in regards to the books they use in their classrooms. I also was responsible for inputting the data necessary to complete the project.
Tallied teacher resource surveys and input results electronically.

I have placed orders for Katherine Jasiewicz for CA Excursions, Marketing Collateral NEEDED for OH/AZ/NA sample packs/boxes, VC Literacy Center Cards and other projects.
Managed inventory for executives on (then list projects like you did above)

I make flysheets up for Name goes here.
I'm not sure what a flysheet is but here goes: Created weekly/daily/monthly flysheets for management.

I researched a project for Name goes here that was left incomplete by a previous employee; contacted the vendors, collected the necessary information, placed the actual order, did all the follow up in regards to shipping dates, proofs for the product, requesting of PO’s, coordinating the shipment from one vendor to another and have been the liaison between the vendors and Name goes here when needed.
Served as liaison for vendors and the(art/library/mgmt, ???) department for the "Yellowbrick Store" project. (obviously, list the correct project). Tasks involved:

• contacting vendors to initiate purchase orders in a timely manner
• collecting data to support projects
• reviewing proofs and highlighting discrepancies so edits can be made
• coordinating shipments between vendors
• track and document shipping dates and work to resolve any date-impacting events

Was trained to be back up for Name goes here in the Print Shop. I worked with him several times learning the machines and types of projects he receives. I assisted him with making booklets and using the binding machine in the print shop. I have processed some print orders for him freeing him to do others. I shipped the orders to the warehouse and made up the packing list for each shipment. I was designated as a contact for print jobs that needed to be done while he was on vacation. I am on standby to assist him when needed.
Became the understudy for Print Shop "title" (what is it?). Bound books, processed print orders and shipped final products to end user location.

I am scanning books and pages for Name goes hereto be used in Power Point Presentations as necessary.

The only reason I used the names was because she requested that I let them know who I am working with, to help justify that I am active in the entire department and helping various people to make it look more important for me to be there for more people. I do like your other suggestions though, the action verb and keeping it all one tense. I was kind of put on the spot yesterday afternoon around 4 or so and had to think of that stuff quickly so didn't put a lot of thought into it.

Hey Everyone

I didn't plan on being missing all day but things were a little crazy. I took my sweet Frasier to the vet for some bloodwork tests and they found a problem with his heart while checking him They are waiting for a few more tests to come back tomorrow but it looks like it will be treatable with medicine I sure hope it is! Please say a prayer. He is like my first child

Anywho, I needed to get some of my stress out so I went to the gym (that we just joined) and ran for an hour. I feel so good right now

I haven't gone back yet to see what I have missed. Hope you all are doing well

Just a quick post this morning as I am actually busy and don't have time to go back and catch up. I jumped on because Sharky told me to check Marshay's comments before I submitted my list of duties to my boss this morning.

Sorry to hear that poor Frasier has some more health problems. I will be keeping in my prayers that he can be treated with medications!

I need to get over to the gym in our resort, that' something else i can do at nights, go run the treadmill and do the bike, it would help relieve some of my stress and also help with the weight thing!!!

I have good news about my Boo Boo Bear (Frasier's nickname). Talked the Specialist today and he does have a heart condition but more than likely will live a long life without any problems. She said if we start noticing him acting different to let her know and he will have to have his heart checked every 6 months to make sure it's still ok but it should not get any worse. I am so thankful He has so many things wrong with him and I just hope this is the last of his health issues. Thanks for all of the prayers
