DISigners - I need technical help before I go crazy!!

HELP!! I am making autograph cards in PSE 8, in a 5x7 format, and saving them as a JPEG. They look great in my folder, but when I upload them to Photobucket and people copy them for their own use, they look "squished" or flattened when they open them. They are 2100x 1500, and 300 KB so they should be plenty big enough. Where am I going wrong? Please help me, this is making me crazy!!

Sometimes disigns and photos I save directly from a thread that links to Photobucket looks squished like you described in Windows Photo Viewer, which is often the defualt program for opening jpgs.


I have found opening them in another program shows they are not in fact squished at all. It just looks like they are in WPV. Does that make sense?

This is how my photo looks when I double click on it (opens in WPV):

But when I right click on it and open with PS CS5..bingo , there it is correct:

So if this is what you are encountering it seems to be a glitch in WPV, I would use any other photo editing or viewing program to open the file.
