Dishwasher. How often do you run it?

Never. I threw that sucker out of my house. I was never happy with it. I'm also a strange one who finds hand-washing dishes to be relaxing...

On the weekends when we cook more, we run it every day. During the week, when we tend to eat quicker meals, it's every other day or so.

With just the two of us it's usually about every third day that I run ours.

I have a lot of things I don't want to put in the dishwasher though, and wash them (our good coffee mugs, my set of good pots/pans, wine glasses, etc.) by hand so really the only things that go into the dishwasher are every day glasses/cups, plates, bowls and cutlery.

Now that the kids have gone we have stopped using it.
Much easier to hand wash.

Daily and sometimes at least 2 or 3 times a day. Breakfast and lunch are one load and dinner can sometimes take 2 if I can't fit all the dishes and pots in there.

When my brother and I were kids, people would ask my parents if they had a dishwasher. To which my parents would respond that they did and that my brother and I were the dishwashers It took a long time for my parents to finally realize they needed an actual dishwasher.

Now it's just my mom with my brother living in the house since my father passed away a few years ago. The dishwasher only gets used for big dinners. My mom and brother are back to handwashing everything again.

Every day - we are a family of 5 and I cook every day

It's just DH and I so every 2nd or 3rd day unless I've been baking. If I'm baking then it's every day.

Every 3 days or so. Right now it is just DH & I. I rinse them off pretty good before putting the dishes in as I know I am not running it until it is FULL TO THE MAX.
When my family was young, I would run it nightly.
