So, after our recent trip and all the concerns with illness, etc., it got me to thinking about the dishes and utensils in the villas. Are we depending on the people staying before us for the cleanliness of the dishes? :confused3 Or does housekeeping check them? :rotfl2:
Do you wash your dishes and utensils in the villas before using them? And... do you make sure you've thoroughly washed what you use before you leave? I honestly hadn't given this any thought on previous stays, but after finding some cruddy looking coffee mugs on the shelf this trip, we'll be washing everything before we use it from now on.

I noticed on our last trip that a couple of plates that were in the middle of the stack were greasy and look like they were used, wiped poorly with a hand towel and then put away. We will run a load in dishwasher of what we will use at the begining of our stay from here on out.

If I find something that looks dirty, I'll wash that one item. Not all the rest. That's why they don't allow dogs in the villas. Dog "washed" dishes.
