I'll be at WDW on my first solo trip from May 12th - May 19th.

I'll be at DHS on the morning of May 17th but am planning to come over to EPCOT to be a part of the MMM!!!

That's our plan too! Open DHS, hit the FP and standby line for TSM, and enjoy the a.m. before taking the boat over to Epcot!

This is going to be quite the meet. France for a Napoleon then U.K. for an adult beverage. I'm almost regreting having a 6PM dinner reservation at 1900 Park Fare because I think I'm not going to want to leave the R&C!

Colins Dad I am eating at Teppan Edo at 6pm on the 17th so I can hang around in the world!! Unfortunately I don't drink but maybe I'll have a pinta soft drink!!!! I can offer some advice on English Beer though having been a serving wench in my youth!!

I am so glad you said English. I wanted to add a Moody Blues song to my Myspace page and I had forgotten. Don't think I am crazy, my mind works that way.............lol. I plan on being at the meet. I will say two but it may just end up being me.

Now off to youtube to look at Moody Blues videos.............lol.

Okay, I am going to speak with my t-shirt guy this week about possibly having t-shirts made up for our MAMMOTH MAY MEET! The graphic is on the previous page. It will be printed in a black screenprint on a lime green t-shirt.

I need to have final numbers and sized to my guy by April 15th. The t-shirts will run about $10 per shirt. IF you'd like to order one, please PM me and give me your quantity and sizes. I will coordinate the effort and try to get everyone's t-shirts mailed to them prior to our trip in May! That way, we can wear the t-shirts to the meet!!! Won't that make a great picture?

Hi Kara! I am starting a spreadsheet of names and sizes, and I'll see how many folks would like to order t-shirts over the next couple of weeks so that I can order them all at one time. I will put your name and size on the list and I'll let you know more after I get an order placed. Help me spread the word! If you know of others that would be interested in getting a t-shirt, have them PM me and I will put their order on the list. I am estimating $10 each, and hopefully that can include shipping, but I'll let you know.

If you are facing the front entrance to DHS from the parking lot, the boat from DHS to Epcot is located just to the right. However, I understand that it is as SLOW as Christmas....so make sure to allow plenty of time.

Will do, Rosie. Oh, and about the boat, there is a boat that goes from DHS to the Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, and Epcot. From what I understand it is extremely SLOW....but nonetheless if you have time, I think it would be a relaxing trip.

I know what you mean. We've got dinner ressies at Ohana that evening at 6:45pm. That should still leave plenty of time for the 3pm meet and then a beverage...or two....or three...or a flight!

Thanks! Do you think an hour is enough time to get from DHS to EPCOT? I was thinking I would leave DHS at 2pm in order to make it to the Meet by 3pm.

Or should I take the bus to one of the EPCOT resorts and walk through the International Gateway? If so, which resort is closest?

Where do you get the boat from DHS to EPCOT?

I want to know about the boat too!!

When walking out of the DHS exit, the boat dock is straight ahead and to the left (not to right like the buses).

A lot of people miss this because when taking the bus to DHS or driving then taking the tram, when you arrive you focus your eyes on the DHS gate (which is left) while the boat dock is down the hill a bit on your right.

When leaving DHS, especially if going to the World Showcase in Epcot, if you see a boat coming, or one is at the dock it should be quicker (and a more relaxing ride) because if you take the bus from DHS to EPCOT, you will be dropped off well outside the maingate of EPCOT. Then you have to walk all the way from the bus stop through Epcot to the World Showcase.

The boat will stop 3 times: At the Dolphin/Swan, Beach Club/Yacht Club, and Boardwalk before making it over to the International Gateway which is right between the UK and France Pavillions. We stayed at the Boardwalk our last trip and the circuit takes about 20 minutes once the boat leaves DHS.

It's definately "slow" but when factoring in that you'll probably be waiting for an Epcot bus anyway, have to walk from the Epcot bus stop and being able to avoid the buses altogether for a more relaxing journey, its definately worth a try.

Growing up on the Cape, I'm biased of course when it comes to taking a boat over any other mode of transportation.
