Ok. Here's my attempt at a TR.

Kari-- Those kiddos of yours are just precious... Avery really looks like a princess! She's so pretty! And Tucker is just so handsome! I love his hair!

Since I am not writing a TR..just thought I would share this picture from "Chef Mickey". Sorry for all those who do not enjoy Chef Mickey. We love it, and never had any problems there.

I've been posting the date as far as I know I have.

Ok. So we are to leave on Sunday, June 24th at 430am. We have spent all of Saturday tearing out the carpet in our house and painting our walls and throwing away all our furniture with about 45 friends, family and volunteers. They leave at about 10 pm and the kids finally go to sleep. I can't sleep. I'm too excited. Danae wets the bed not once, not twice but three times! But is sound asleep and never truly wakes up. Michael snores through the whole thing. By three am I am up and organizing and getting the bags ready. Kids up at about 420 am. Danae a quick shower and by 430am they are dressed and outside as we dodge nails on our floor. We wait and no limo. By 438am I contact the limo. They have our number wrong and the guy is lost and about 10 minutes away. He gets here and load and we get to the airport just fine. Its a mad dash for Mick though as he has to get Michael to a potty and get us some bfast. He makes it in time for final boarding. However, as we board, Danae has to go potty. I tell the flight attendant and she says fine, notes the Wish pin on Danae's shirt and asks us about our trip. By the time Danae is out of the potty, Mick is unhooking the carseats to move us to the Business class who only has one other couple in it! Yay! Kids are wired but well behaved and we have no issues on the plane. See my TR report for the fun the Flight Attendants had with TP.

We arrive at the airport and are met by a couple people from Give Kids the World (GKTW) who help us navigate the airport. We pick up luggage, get our rental and we are off! Kids still wide awake! Note here that both kids still nap regularly! We get to the resort and get our villa right away. It is a gorgeous villa! Living room, eat in kitchen, washer/dryer, a master bedroom, bathroom, a kids room (two twin beds - huge) and a huge bathroom for the "kids" which includes a hot tub! Sweet! Our back door looks out to the pond, the swimming pool is steps away and the fishing area is right there! And its quiet! Beautiful!

We wander around. There is a caroussel (which we must ride), a train (which we must ride), a "magic castle" with a play room and volunteers and lots of other good stuff. Oh, and Ice Cream from Friendly's (as well as sandwiches). Ice Cream for lunch! Great way to start our vacation!

Originally we were going to go to DTD however there is too much to do. We run around and play. I go to orientation and get the tickets and Mick and the kids fish. They have a blast!

Still no nap!
And no meltdowns of notable size.
Yeah!

The resort is open until 9pm and we spend the day wandering around from activity to activity. We have so much fun we decide to get free pizza back at our villa and just relax, hoping the kids will pass out anytime now...anytime now...Mick takes a bath...I take a bath...anytime now...midnight they both collapse from sheer exhaustion. They sleep in their own room!!

Tomorrow MK or bust!

DM, I am gonna try and post to both since I'm going to try and gear the stand alone one to Wish families (it'll get more evident soon). So, yes, you'll have to read them both if you want all the details! LOL

Okay I will be hopping back and forth to make sure I get it all. I realize that your other TR is geared toward Make a Wish families. I thank God that I have never had to experience that firsthand but I think it is good for others to see what some families have to go through. I admire your strength as I know I would have been a very weak person if it had been me.

Good Luck Wendy with keeping up with 2 trip reports. I think I am going to abandon this one and just stick to my own from now on, since I'm ADD and all. I am doing good to keep my house in order with all of these trip reports to read, much less contribute to 2 different ones. I just can't handle all the pressure.

I will probably only post a pic here and there on this thread but my main reporting is going to be on my own TR. It is too hard to do 2 TRs let alone try to keep up with reading others! This thread is good for the ones that don't want to do a full trip report. I am enjoying reading all the mini TRs here!

I think I'm gonna be abandoning this one as well. I have been trying since 9 this morning to type out my TR for the Wish one and just haven't been able to with the kids. I will post pics as I am able to. CM, your TR is so nice and I like the way you do the narratives with the pics so I'll have to steal that.

OKay so sorry I didn't post last night, things are crazy right now.

The date: 6/21/07: Pirates Cruise, Wishes

Today we had Pirates Cruise (woohoo two hours of peace and quiet ), so that morning we ate at Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast. I love Mickey Waffles, and they had a Mickey Waffle there the size of the plate. It had cinnamon sugar and mickey type candy or sprinkles I want to call it. Oh it was so good. Well we finished up eating and took him to Pirates Cruise and saw him off.

Well we did laundry that day, well my sister in law and mom did laundry. My sister and I picked him up from Pirates Cruise, darn those two hours flew by way to fast. Well we finished up laundry and laid around a bit in the hotel room. Well we headed to MK and had dinner at Cosmic Rays. It was okay food. I love the fries this year that they have. Well after that we headed to Toontown to look for something. From there we went and did Tiki room and Pirates again. Well we finished up there and headed to the candy store on Main Street.

I got a caramel apple and it was so good, I couldn't eat it all though. Well we finished up there and headed back to the room. Now this is the day of the cruise and somehow I have managed to keep my big mouth shut the whole trip about this. Don't ask how I did it, cause I didn't know. Well we enjoy our desserts and lay around the hotel room. All my sister in law and nephew know is we have to leave at 9 for this surprise.

Well we leave our room and head down to the dock. I get there and I'm looking for Laura (crazy_kanga) at this point. I find them and go over saying hi first, before bringing my sister in law and nephew over and telling them what's going on. We talk for a bit as we wait on Court. Finally she gets over to where we are after going to the wrong part of the dock. We finally get on the boat and head out towards WL to watch the lagoon pageant as of course we're talking.

We finally settle at Bay Lake and watch the fireworks with the music. It was so cool to watch from Baylake without the crowds and just be with friends. Laura thank you so much again for inviting us with you on the cruise.

That was Thursday, vacation is more than half done. All that's left is Friday and Saturday. So up next is AK.

As for the Dates and parks I thought that I was doing that, I put it up there as that title.I did put the wrong day on one of the tittles but put the right date in the post. was sleepy that day I posted. Enjoying everyones TRS.
