Hi all! I was very busy yesterday, and had no time to sit at the computer. Looks like everyone else was busy, too! Got better pics of Avery's hair today. It looks much darker now that it is short, but still curly at least!

Now if I can only figure out how to get my photopass pics loaded...

Hi Jackie! Ready for that party tomorrow? I would be running around in a mad panic to get cleaned! I think I may do that tonight, anyway. The kids have gone to a baseball game with my brother, and Wynn has to work... so I have the house to myself for a bit. Of course... I may just sit here and DIS, then watch a little TV...

Didn't look like a "pool day" today, so Dana asked to go to the movies... we went to see "Hairspray".... Anyone see it yet? What did you think??

What do you mean load them? Do you have the CD or are you trying to view them on the PhotoPass website?

It's the CD... but when I stuck it in, it went online for a user agreement. Then the photos are thumbnail size, and in sets of 20. I assumed it was doing something online, as Internet Explorer was running the whole time I looked at them. When I highlighted them, the prompt on the computer asked if I wanted to burn them to a CD. I'm a computer blond... so I told Wynn to handle it tomorrow! If I have time, I may try to mess with it tonight.

Did Rob and the kids have fun?

The 2 Darth Vaders... can you guess which one belongs to me? It was SO FUNNY watching how all the characters interacted with him in his costume.

Avery in BBB. SO worth the money... she loves to pretend she is there, and have me do her hair and make-up... guess we won't be doing the hair for a while!

Hi Kari..yes Ive been a cleaning fool. Why do I do it to myself every year. Its not like I havent had this party planned for well over 3 weeks, but I always wait until the last minute to clean. Of course Steve was suppose to mow the lawn tonight after work. Wouldnt you know, we had thunderstorms for 2 hrs
But I got the downstairs bathroom cleaned, and the living room dusted.,,oh my the dust I got most of the kitchen cleaned. Steve said he would mop the floor . Well once the kids are in bed, and the dogs are in the other room. We have 6 dogs here for the party,my 3 and 3 custermors, Lucky all the kids who come over love dogs

I will have to vacuum again tomorrow, and then clean off the outside furniture.Cant stand the bird poop everywhere YUCK

I always wait until the last minute to clean, too. Otherwise... I just have to do it again anyway! I think my kids (the littles as well as the one I am married to!) are allergic to a clean house! I constantly find toys out, Wynn's shoes in front of the couch... at least I kick mine off under the computer desk where they won't show! The real thing that bugs me is Wynn is the king of a midnight bowl of cereal. Without fail, he will empty a box of cereal, and set the empty box on the cabinet beside the sink. HELLO... the trashcan is under the sink... not on top of it! Drives me batty! Almost as much as the roll of toilet paper sitting on top of the TP holder. Its not like you had anything better to do in those few minutes! Good luck tomorrow... I hope the weather is pretty. We had storms here, too. Lots of lightening.

We have a party tomorrow too but not at our home. The boys are having a combined friends birthday party at a bowling alley. Glad we chose it there because the weather does not look good tomorrow.

I try to never have birthday parties here anymore... too much work, and I can't enjoy the party. Since Tucker is May, and Avery is October, we never get to do combined. Avery wants either Chuck E Cheese or Bullwinkles this year... OH, JOY!!

We had a fun evening with my little brother and his wife. (by "little" I mean 10 years younger! ) The weather was supposed to be bad, so we were going to go out - then it cleared and he really wanted to jump in the pool, so we ordered Chinese instead! Had a great time and they just left!

Wow, everyone has been so busy! I know I have too. We are leaving in a week, and I'm really getting excited, but nervous about getting everything done.

Kari, I like Avery's hair, it's very cute.

DM, hope you enjoyed your "days off". Michael was at 4H camp this week, so I had the week off as well. It was fun.

I do have some good news! DH is now out of his boot, and back in regular shoes He is still limping and moving very slow, but he's walking. We will just have to see how he does at the World, and are prepared to take it easy.

Happy Birthday Courtney, sorry I was late with the good wishes.

How many kids are you having? Elizabeth always asks me to have a party at Chuck e cheese or the rollar skating rink. I am a meanie, I always say no. For me in the back yard its cheaper, well I think it is , as we never know how many kids we will have. Plus, they actually play more together with their friends when its a swimming party. it seems at Chuck E CHeese, all the kids run off on 10 dift directions and nobody really plays with each other . Plus Faith doesnt really have any friends to invite , and will feel all the girls who come over today are her friends as wel.

You know what, I never enjoy the parties we have. I am always worried about everything. Actually once everybody is here, and the food and drink are out, I start to relax. Normally a couple adults stay(my friends)and when I get a chatting, I tend not to worry at all anymore Its not so bad having it outside as we have plenty to do . Swimming pool, swingset, sandbox etc..they are always occupied.

Im glad I am not the only last minute cleaner.I will say Steve did an awesome job on the kitchen floor too bad it will be dirty again tomorrow LOL..See the kitchen is where the dogs go back and forth to get to the back the door that leads them outside. I hear you about the trashcan. My thing is the dishwasher. Steve always has some sort of snack or drink late at night too. He leaves the stuff in the sink? My goodness, the dishwasher is about 6 inches from the sink Maybe its just a man thing?
So far the sun is shining, and the high to be 93 today Just need to make sure I have the extra suntan lotion out for the ones who forget it.
