That's not "all over the place", it sounds like a
"DISNEY PARTY"
to me!!
ok, we'll just ignore the shrek part...
We had an above ground pool in our first house. Always enjoyed floating! When we bought this house, I knew the yard had a perfect spot for an inground. We waited for a few years, then "almost" signed the papers, and then Bob lost his job - the whole department was downsized!

Thank God we hadn't signed the papers.

He was out of work for an
entire year, but was given a generous severance package. When he finally found a new job and was doing well, we decided to use the severance money to have the pool installed. We always joke that our pool is
"Compliments of Bob's Previous Employeer"!
He doesn't use it all that much, but Dana & I love it.
I need to get to Party City too - Dana's birthday is Aug 19. We are thinking about a "Mexican Fiesta" theme, but that's only because I'm being lazy and may have it catered by Moe's or Chili's!
Six pizzas sounds about right for that age group & mix. That's 48 slices of pizza - and if the kids are busy in the pool, they aren't that interested in FOOD. We, adults, however....
Oh, and welcome TE!
