Renee- sounds like Dana has here hands full the next week.... wish her well on her finals ... we don't start those for a couple more weeks here. Maggie just got her SAT scores back and my "A" student did terrible (of course I told her it was fine)... thank goodness she can retake them - must have been test jitters... she was very upset.... .

Courtney - glad you made it back from your trip ... sounds like the weather wasn't to nice but glad you had a great time....

Kari.... how kind of you to offer points to others - but I do believe it will be me that wins that DVC membership... don't listen to DM - you know she is alwasy stirring up some trouble....

We had a busy weekend here... Daniel had 2 baseball games on Saturday... they won both ... then we went off to the field days... had some fun there... yesterday both kids marched int he Memorial Day parade with their bands....that was nice ... thenw e had some friends over for a cookout.... the weather was great....

As far as traditions go... we always like to start and end our vacation at the Magic Kingdom - as long as it fits in with TGMikes plan.....we also love CP for breakfast....seeing the fireworks at each park is a must for us... just ends the day the right way!!! Maggie loves both Wishes (because Tink flys above) and Fantasmic (her fav. part it at the end when Mickey comes back out and says "Some imagination huh ...") ... while Daniel loves Illuminations because of the big globe - he thinks its amazing that they can get that many tv's on the big globe....

Since I slacked all weekend I have tons of work to do today.... hope everyones day is filled with sunshine!!!!

I know you are very excited about your new house!! That's true about making coming home from Disney a little easier!! I'm glad you had a good trip...what all did you get at Sam Moon?

I only spent $16 at Sam Moon--- that's incredible!!!!! I usually spend about $100.... But I'm saving for more house stuff.

I got a really cute pair of earrings, and cute bracelet, and a pair of "diamond" earrings... Diamonds that are $6.95

The girls and I just got home from a spur of the moment shopping trip!! We went to the Children's Place, The Disney Store and Bath & Body Works. I got Alyssa 2 more pairs of the croc like flip flops, a lime green short set and a couple of skorts at the Children's Place. At B&BW I got 10 bottles of antibacterial soap at 5 for $10. At the Disney Store I got the girls and me each a beach towel, one of the Tiki shirts for our Ohana night & some slippers for Alyssa. I'm getting ready to go!!! I didn't get DH a shirt but I have gotten him several Disney shirts over the past few months.

Fun buying more things for Disney! I did too but I'm going to post it over on my PTR.

I have been so busy for the past week, and haven't been checking in. It took me 2 days to catch up! (26 pages! ) DM... love the daily schedules. I didn't realize how many days I was in parks with other stalkers!

I am so anal about forgetting something that I have to pack early to make sure I get everything.

I am pretty anal about packing too except talk about OCD for me! I usually pack and then have to go through it all a couple of times just to make sure I have it all again and again. One trip we just started out to the airport and thank goodness I remember less than a ½ mile away that I forgot my cell phone that was charging!

Did you not notice that the swimsuit is black, and very low cut? Hides a multitude of flaws... trust me! The low cut is to keep eyes drawn upward! Also... please notice the strategic placement of the children! Actually... my instructions to my mother are always "Don't get my butt. Just do a close-up on my face and upper body." Problem is... she is photographically challenged!

Hello everyone,
Sorry I wasn't on all weekend. We went shopping Friday night for the out of town bags. I think Scilla went a bit overboard with all the stuff she bought. Each bag has 2 bottles of gatoraide, 2 bags of chips, 2 bags of peanuts, a pack of gum, advil, 2 chocolate bars............

Saturday we had the final meeting with the minister, then went to a friends house for a cookout

Sunday we tackled the seating chart 307 guests. Needless to say it wasn't fun hearing our parents "why is this person sitting here, how come you can't sit these people together"

Wow...coming up real soon. How exciting! Every weekend from here on through we have something planned so the time is going to fly. I'm sorry I won't be able to make the wedding!

As we move into June and we all get close to leaving on our trip, we must be sure to make that "final" post to this thread! And don't forget to sign in to our new thread, which I'll start right before we leave. I'll make sure I place a link in this thread.

That's a good one! It was kinda like Rob & me. We were go, go, go and were very tired later... Ah, but we managed to squeeze in some honeymooning here and there! But we lived with each other for a year before we got married so it was nothing new anyway.

I had to crop the heck out of my photopass pics that I kept. The one in my siggie originally had the whole hat in it. Couldn't see anything but the hat and some unsightly cellulite!

I really like it cropped that way. There is no need for the entire hat. What is it some sort of Fantasmic hat or something and like who cares about Fantasmic. That was a joke for Rags!!! I know it's Sorcerer Mickey's hat but I think I would like the same kind of shot you have - cropped that is!

I'm going to start getting stuff out to pack cause I only have today really to do anything. Tomorrow I may be heading to Nashville to go wedding dress shopping with my best friend.

Then Thursday,Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night I have to work a volunteer auction.

I will start to gather things we don't use, and make lists... but I can't pack until a couple of days before we go. I have to get everything washed, folded, and put away... then I can pull out the things we want to take. I will wash on Wed, pack bags on Thurs, clean house and load car on Fri, and leave Sat AM. Well... that's the plan! Last year we were up 1/2 the night on Fri packing, and loaded the car Sat AM! And left the house like a tornado had been through! I am determined to do better this year!

We'll pack the last minute always do. I'm just getting my clothes out and seeing what fits and what I want to take. We're leaving out Thursday, so Thursday night I will be Dising from Nashville at Hampton Inn. May hit up either Johnny Rockets or TGI Fridays for dinner. May do some shopping also.

None of our clothes gets packed until that day. There are quite a few things that we have bought specifically for the trip so those things are just waiting to be packed in the next day or 2. I have a huge bag sitting in my room that I went through this weekend. I opened the mini-fans, made sure they still worked. I got rid of excess wrappers and organized things by category. Still most everything else gets packed on Friday the 22nd while the kids are at school for the whole 1½ hours that day!

Good Morning All! I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! DBF and I went to the zoo yesterday. It was sorta a prep course for Disney, all the walking and crowds of annoying tourists! Only Disney will be about 30 degrees hotter.

I did not realize today was May 29, I thought it was the 28th...so I am happy cuz that is one day closer to June...too bad May doesnt have 30 days! Aw well I am off to clean my room~! I will be checking in throughout the day!

Hi all! Sounds like everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. I spent the weekend at my parent's house. They had a big party yesterday and we spent the rest of the time swimming in their pool. I loved everyone's pics! And Kari, you are my hero - all the cropping and strategic placement in the world would still not be enough to get me to post a bathing suit photo of myself!

I usually get all packed a week or two in advance. The only way I can do that is I have a VERY BAD habit of buying all new stuff for our trips - clothes, underwear, socks, shoes, shampoo, toothbrushes, razors, sunblock, you name it! Usually the only things I have to pack last minute are my cell phone & charger. I am bad...
