The number is 407-224-2155. It works like ADRs. When you get there and check in, you get put at the top of the wait list, ahead of those that walk up. We don't plan to spend a lot of time at Citywalk, so I didn't want to have to wait. We will look around a bit, eat, then go shopping at touristy shops on the way back to the hotel. We want to get back in time to swim, and get the kids down before too late!

PJs I wear a few times because I shower before putting them on at night.

I actually will wear the same PJs the whole week. I don't sweat at night and don't feel that nasty. You make me feel like a grubbo!

Does anyone usually waste a ticket on a half day or would you advise settling in and starting my park hoppers on Sunday?

I always go to a park whenever I get there. I usually get to the hotel around noon. I actually buy an extra day just in case I want to go to the park for a liitle while on my last day.

I figured since it's only $2 difference between 6 and 7 day tickets it's worht $2 to spend a few hours in the park

Of course It's only Scilla and I, so that might change when I start bringing kids with me

If you are buying multiday tickets then really adding an extra day is not that much. It was only about $5 extra for our family. Going only for a ½ day for that cost is fine in my book.

No jumping on the advanced rides... trotting and cantering (like a gallop). Bob trots. I "saunter".

Renee- sounds like Dana has here hands full the next week.... wish her well on her finals ... we don't start those for a couple more weeks here. Maggie just got her SAT scores back and my "A" student did terrible (of course I told her it was fine)... thank goodness she can retake them - must have been test jitters... she was very upset.... .

ONE test should not be the determining factor. Some students totally bomb at standardized tests, while others excel. That's why so many schools are now looking into not even using SAT's in their acceptance criteria. Dana is a terrible standardized test taker. Tell Maggie not to worry - it's good she took them and now she has an idea of what to expect, and I'm sure she'll do better next time. And if not - that "A student" will have enough to back her up that one test won't do her in.

Sunday we tackled the seating chart 307 guests. Needless to say it wasn't fun hearing our parents "why is this person sitting here, how come you can't sit these people together"

"Seating arrangements" are probably one of the most stressful duties of wedding planning! As my mother complained about who I had at what table, Bob kept adding fuel to the fire, and in a quiet voice, kept saying... "gee, I say 'first come, first served'." I had to keep smacking him under the table to shut him up, as I argued with my mother.

We try to bring an outfit for each day and a few extra tops. I do NOT do laundry when I am on vacation. Nor do I cook, or clean. I AM ON VACATION.


Ok - question for you - we have 3 days left over on 3 passes. (no expiration, park hoppers) I am thinking of just getting an additional 5 day pass, park hopper, water park addition for each of us, and order them now so they get here in a week. Make sense?

Wendy I am not a test taker yet I made all a's and one b this semester. I had to take some remedial classes my first semester but if she's smart enough she can test out of it. Tell her keep her chin up.

I was sugar coating it... now I feel I am busted, and have to "come clean!" I only bring 2 pair of PJs, so 1 gets 5 nights, the other 4. I'm not a sweater either, and I only sleep in the shirt 1/2 of the PJs anyway. The pants are only for lounging in the room.

So you go commando on your lower half with your whole family in the same room? What a hootchy mama! It's gonna be tough for me to actually wear jammies. I like going commando at night all the time.

I just wear my T and undies... can't stand to feel restricted! My kids have always seen it, so they don't even think anything of it. But I do go behind the curtain when I get dressed and such. Heck... one kid or the other usually ends up in my bed at least twice a week... and Wynn goes down to the couch!

Plus on the Jimmy Buffett do you have to have priority seating? This is my first trip to his place (did LuLu's in Gulf Shores) and really, REALLY want to eat there.

Actually I would get another 10 day PH no expiration then you have enough for the next trip. The prices haven't gone up in a long time so you'll save that way too.

Also I'm going thru my Entertainment book. If anyone wants $5.00 off at SeaWorld (good for six) I also think I can print off the website for Orlando restuarants. Let me know.

We have 3 park days left on them for this trip in June, but we wanted 4 park days so I just ordered a new set of 10 day no exp. to get our 4th day with and then we will get 2 more trips out of them. At first, Chris said no, but I convinced him it would save us money in the long run! After all, we will be going back next year for my big 4-0 celebration!

Yes, you can get an ADR. We wanted to go last year, but they didn't have availability for the day I wanted. I think you go through Disney dining, but not positive.

Part of me agrees with you and part of me doesn't.
We like to do the water parks and Pleasure Island too, and that doesn't carry over - that is only good for that "7 or whatever days after first used".. Only the park admissions are non-expiring. So, that's why I'm thinking - use the 3 days we have left for Friday, Sat, and Sunday... and then start the Monday with the 5 day new pass and go to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon and it will take us through to Friday. We never go to a park on our "going home" day....
I have a feeling we aren't as "DISNEY" as the rest of you.. I don't see us returning in the next few years - we want to try another Disney Cruise and go to Bermuda, etc... When we do return to Disney World, we'll be wanting to get the water parks and Pleasure Island admissions with the park hopper.

Sorry I wasn't on all weekend. We went shopping Friday night for the out of town bags. I think Scilla went a bit overboard with all the stuff she bought. Each bag has 2 bottles of gatoraide, 2 bags of chips, 2 bags of peanuts, a pack of gum, advil, 2 chocolate bars............

Saturday we had the final meeting with the minister, then went to a friends house for a cookout

I can't wait for Disney

Your wedding is getting so close...I know you are both excited but also ready for it to be over and be on your way to Disney!!

I usually get all packed a week or two in advance. The only way I can do that is I have a VERY BAD habit of buying all new stuff for our trips - clothes, underwear, socks, shoes, shampoo, toothbrushes, razors, sunblock, you name it! Usually the only things I have to pack last minute are my cell phone & charger. I am bad...

I do the same thing with buying all new toiletries...I also love to get new socks for vacation too. I can't wait to start packing!!

After all this talk about when we all pack. How about this question...

Yes, we will wear some shorts 2x...but probably not any shirts 2x.

This makes me feel so much better...my Mom couldn't believe that when Amanda & I went to DC a few weeks ago that I didn't take a pair of PJs for each of us for each night...she said you mean you are going to sleep in the room with someone else and they are going to know that you are sleeping in the same PJs...I didn't say anything but I noticed that the other mom & daughter slept in the same PJs on multiple nights too!! Like Kari said I take a bath right before I put them on so how dirty could they be??
