AP rates are out for our travel time.....

I just called and saved $121.74 on my 2 night room only reservation. I had to switch from Yacht Club to Beach Club but that didn't matter 'cause we're only staying there for SAB! Woo hoo! More spending $ in my pocket! :cool1:

Dang ya'll have been talking a lot today!
Renee I don't think anypne ever answered your question about Off Kilter. They are a really cool, high energy Celtic Rock type band that of course wear Kilts. They do a very eclectic type music that almost everyone who sees them really loves. And to add to the fun, Jamie, the lead singer, is a real cut up between songs. You really should try to come and join us.

Thanks, Laura! That sounds like something we might like! So where is this and when?!

We saw the neatest group this past year called Groove Lily. (www.groovelily.com) They appeared as the orchestra but also as part of the show in a presentation of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream. Really different. Electric violin, piano and drums. EXTREMELY eclectic!

Courtney... I made your chicken last night for dinner. We all loved it! I changed the recipe a bit... used regular cream cheese instead of the chives (Wynn can't read the grocery list!), Cream of Chicken instead of mushroom because of an allergy, and added extra water and the pasta in the crock pot for the last 30 minutes (due to laziness!) Anyway... YUMMO!

I'm glad you liked it... I've never changed up the recipie.. but I know that the original is SUPER YUMMO!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad you could "make it work" (anyone watch Heidi K's show??) for you and your family (and Wynn's lack of following the directions)... And the best part is---- IT'S EASY!!!!

They are at Canada at 5:30. I'm not exactly sure where in Canada because I have never seen them...Crazy K and other review that I have read make them sound great!! I hope you can come. I think we are going to have a pretty good group there to meet!!

As far as tickets go we get expiring Park Hoppers. We don't hop a lot but we will toward the end of our trip so we always get them.

I'm not sure about going to Disney again in 2008...I would love to but I guess we'll just have to wait and see...DH won't even talk about another trip yet!

A couple of weeks ago I decided to order me some Disney Princess checks and they came in the mail today...they are soo pretty!!! I can't wait to use them.

What will you all be giving your kids' teachers this year for end of the year gifts? Last year I made ribbon covered flip flops with a monogrammed button at the toe for both DD's teachers but I have waited too late to start something like that this year. Besides we're not as crazy about youngest DD's teachers this year as we were last year. I may monogram them all tote bags since Hobby Lobby has them 1/2 off this week and I could do them this weekend. Oldest gets out of school next Thursday and youngest's last day in her current class is next Friday...I had better decide soon!!!

LizAgna does Hobby Lobby have the bags where you can put pictures? I want one so bad and I can't find one.

As an elementary school librarian, I have received my share of neat and not so neat gifts. :rotfl: I would LOVE to receive ribbon covered flip flops or a monogramed bag!

I received by far the ODDEST gift ever given to a teacher this past Christmas.. a set of six SHOT GLASSES. Yes, you read that correctly: SHOT GLASSES. Never in a million years, knowing me, would you put "Renee and shot glasses" in the same sentence.. (champagne flutes, maybe, but NEVER shot glasses :lmao: ) My two friends at school had QUITE a good laugh! I don't think many teachers can top THAT one..

I usually do a gift card to Target or somewhere. I put it in a bag with different homemade treats... cookies, fudge, etc. I worked in a preschool before I had kids, and I used to get so much "stuff." The gift cards and edible things were always my favorites. Liz... never got homemade flip flops before... they sound cute. I did get a tote bag once that I loved. It was appliqued with a cute garden scene, and had flowers, ladybugs, etc painted on it.

Laura - when is everyone meeting to listen to them? Which day?
thanks!;)

I got a gift basket with sexy body products... including massage oil! It was a warming lubricant type of oil. I think the mom must have thought she was buying a soap/lotion basket, and didn't bother to read the bottles. At least... that's what I hope!:rotfl:

I'm not sure I will look & see when I am there this weekend. I saw them around Christmas time but I can't remeber where I saw them...maybe at Bed Bath & Beyond...do you have one close to you?

I like the bags for teachers because they always have things to carry. Shot glasses are a VERY unusal gift for a teacher...:rotfl:

The flip flops were a big hit last year!! I took Wal-Mart ones and covered the thong part with ribbon that matched the soles and then monogrammed their 1st initial and put it on a 1 1/2 inch covered button and then sewed it on at the toe. But they were such a pain to make...you have to use the E6000 glue...that I didn't even make any for me and my DDs.

I was going to make youngest DD's afternoon teacher a laundry bag since she is graduating from HS but I found out today that she is not going away to school. So I guess I will just do her a tote bag too. We really like her ...DD also had her 2 1/2 years ago when she was learning to talk and would call her Sissy then one day we realized why...the teacher's name is Amanda which is our oldest DD's name. So to this day when she is talking to about this teacher she calls her "my other Sissy Amanda" or "you know my Sissy Amanda that doesn't live with us"...it just cracks us up!!

Nearest Bed Bath and Beyond is in Nashville. I may go on a hunt tomorrow or this weekend. I want a tote or something to put my pictures on. I saw one at Walmart after my RF concert and my mom said no.

Oh my goodness!! That would have been very embarrasing!

I wish you all could see my youngest right now...I would take a picture but this doesn't need to get out...she is walking around with her McDonald's American Idol sunglasses & microphone on, her paci in her mouth, her jeans on and NO top...she said that she was hot so she took her top off...this child, this child!!

I'll answer I thought I put it in my other post but I didn't...we are meeting Monday, June 25th at about 5:15. The show starts at 5:30.

hmmm... Chef de France reservations are that night - maybe we can peek in before we go to dinner? I'll write it down.
Thanks for the info! Good night all ... I must get some sleep! Have to sing at 8am mass tomorrow morning! :rolleyes1

Courtney, What day was it that you were riding ToT after Fantasmic?
