hope this works trying to put a pic of the family up.

ooppss , to big.

Not too big! ;) Looks lovely! Nice photo!

I need to scan our cruise photo - that was such a fun trip!
I'd love to do the European one, but did anyone see the news about the Greek cruise ship sinking today? yikes!

Yes...the bread is YUMMO, especially with that cinnamon butter. The fries had too much salt on them for me, but that didn't stop me from eating them. Love them fries too!

I can you one thing I will not be having....a dole whip. LOL. I tried them and didn't like them. Maybe I will try the dole whip float. What do they use as the soda for it?
Dole whip floats have pineapple juice in them. So refreshing.:drinking1 Except they're yellow, not brown.

YEAH!! It's finally the weekend! :woohoo: Where did everyone go to eat tonight? We went to Golden Corral. Not fancy, but their jumbo fried shrimp and Bourbon St chicken were YUMMO!! I also had a yeast roll, mashed potatos, squash and zucchini, and broccoli. I ate way too much, of course! We ended up there after going shopping for a twin mattress for Avery. She is so petite that she still fits her toddler bed, but we are ready to move her up. Isn't sad when your baby starts growing up? :guilty:

I saw that about the cruise ship sinking. Unfortuneately, DH saw it, too. His comment... Are you SURE you want to take a cruise? I said "Yes, but not to Greece!" I'm not letting him out of that vacation that easily!

No "out to eat" for us - we spent the evening in church - DD was one of the "weeping women" in the Living Stations of the Cross that the Youth Group presents every Good Friday, and I sang all the music. It was awesome. Pitch dark, except for the spot light - and our little lights on the music stands and piano! The Religious Education director has two friends who play in a band and they came with their guitars. I got to sing one of their original pieces and it was so moving. I'm not sure how I got through it without crying.. All the music was just so wonderful to sing - I was honored to be a part of it again - have been doing it for four years now.

Easter dinner is at my parents - pros and cons to that - love my big Italian family, but mom & dad should have thought twice about how SMALL the house is!!! I offered to move it to MY house, which is bigger, but Mom is stubborn.

Thank goodness it's the weekend!

Every Good Friday, my family has a fish fry. My entire family--- all 50 of us... And that's just one side of the family (aunts, cousins, etc). Well since I LOVE fried food-- esp. fried fish--- and FRENCH FRIES!!!!!!!!!!! It was so yummy!!!!!

And today Ryan's going crawfishin' so cross your fingers he'll bring something back and we can have a boil tonight!!!!!!! Yay!

:sad2: :sad2:
Its snowing...thats all I have to say.

4 days ago it was 80:confused3

Last night we went out to eat at an Italian restaurant that we had never been to before. It was good but I'm not sure if we will go there again. It was expensive...the food was good but we have another family favorite Italian place that is about $20 cheaper...we spent more money last night than we should have...and we all drank water :scared1: . I had eggplant parmesan, DH had veal marsala, oldest DD just had cheese sticks & youngest had ravoili.

Easter dinner for us will be after church at DS (not Disney...she hates it...I don't know what's wrong with her!!) house. DM is making chicken salad, deviled eggs, potato salad...yummmmo! We will also be celebrating DS birthday so we will be having strawberry cake...yummmo again!

I went to the Disney Store at lunch yesterday to get a few things for tomorrow...I got DDs a tink shirt each (lime green of course), oldest an iPod cover with Mickey on it, youngest an Ariel cell phone & a Cinderella camera...everything but the iPod cover was on sale plus I used my 15% off coupon from www.wishesgranteddaily.com. Have any of you seen the little fans that they have now that light up with sayings? They are so cute!! I will probably get DDs each one before our trip to give to them once we get there. They have Marie from Aristocats, the Princesses, Ariel and they each say something related to the characters.

Well, I'll be checking back in through out the day...I must finish DD's Easter dress!! It will be covered up with a sweater/jacket but at least on our inside pictures you will be able to see her dress.

We were trying to be as good as we could for Good Friday, so we just had pizza for dinner.

Easter we will be going to my parents' home (next door). Mom is making lamb and I love lamb!! I will be making the huge dinner contribution by making peanut butter bars. :lmao: Oh, and Mom is making key lime pie too. That is my most favorite of favorite pies EVER!!!

I saw the fans. They were about $7 but I didn't realize that they lit up with sayings as I didn't try them out. Now I must rethink that. I had it in my mind to get the misting fans. Hmm...which do you all think would be better????

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!

Hope everyone on here has a HAPPY EASTER!!!!

Yummm...key lime pie!!

I like the light up fans for youngest DD at least...that way I don't have to worry about her spraying anyone :lmao: . Also I thought that might take the place of the little flashlight when we are on dark rides since it lights up. They may be too cutesy for oldest DD but if I get one I had better get two...kwim? We already have 2 of the large misting fans so if I get these we will have both.

As I sit here Youngest DD is playing on the floor & she just told me that she is packing her backpack for Disney...she says we are going tomorrow after "Easter day"...I want to tell them about the trip so much but I have to keep reminding myself what a great surprise it will be when they find out when we are actually in the van on the way!!

In my most humble opinion (pre-menopausal opinion, at that)
THE MISTING FAN IS A MUST!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

It saved my life last June twice - once in the middle of Animal Kingdom and once in the middle of Sea World. I literaly would not be here today, had it not been for the mist on my neck and face. I thought DH was going to have to dunk me in the dolphin pool. LOL
(have you figured out yet that I don't do well in HEAT?!?!) :cool2:

we're getting regular fans... I can't stand being misted! DS had the Disney mister last summer, and drove me insane with it! And he would complain that it hurt his neck, so we got stuck carrying it for him alot. I'll let him take it back, but I will have regular fans for all in the backpack.

We couldn't go to Good Friday services, as they started before I got off work. We will go to Easter service, but not the sunrise. My kids will be digging through their baskets about then. For Easter lunch we will be home, and we do an easy lunch. My mom is out of town, and DH's parents go out to lunch. We will probably cook hot dogs or pizza or something, and just relax and enjoy the day. The only food my kids will want is in their baskets, anyway!

Welcome to our Stalking thread. If you stick around, you'll have a lot of fun here!

Thank you! I have been trying to catch up on this thread so that I know what in the world you guys are talking about half the time! It will help when I finally get the kids back in school on Monday and finally get some uninterrupted time. *No* mother should be subjected to a full week with their preteen daughter - actually it was fine for the first 7 days, but today is LONG....:sad2: I'm just hoping that her attitude does not put a damper on our trip this summer.

I told my husband he is earning his angel wings, living in a house with a pre-menopausal wife and a 13 year old daughter! WAY too many hormones flying around here sometimes! :lmao:
