Stressed. So much to do, not enough hours in the day. I started school back Monday and I'm already overwhelmed especially with the online class.

I'm helping one of my best friends's plan her wedding that I'm in next July.

All I have to say is 23 more days till I my Rascal Flatt concert.

Kids started school yesterday and have been working and getting them their supplies and new clothes. Plus helping DH Aunt and Uncle house hunting. Found one right around the corner from ours and showed it to them a month ago and we keep looking but they keep coming back to it. So they put a bid on it a few weeks ago and the owner accepted and now they are waiting for the paperwork to be finialized in 20 days. They hope to be in the house by the end of next month as they will be quiting the truck driving business and sold their house in PA two months ago. They are tired of living on and in their truck.

I'm here. It's been busy. I monogrammed 22 football jerseys last week...this is the last team I will get to do for a while. After this year Amanda's age group will go start playing school ball instead of city league. Saturday we celebrated my mom's birthday with a yummy dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and then back to my sister's house for dessert.

Tonight we went to Parent Night at Amanda's middle school. She has some very nice teachers. Hopefully she will have a good year this year. As of tomorrow they will have been in school for 3 weeks already!! I have my 1st Band Boosters meeting Thursday night...I'm excited to get involved in it.

I've been around, but very busy. Bought a "new" car this weekend. I got a 2006 Kia Sorento with 12K miles. I was really surprised that I bought a Kia, as I am kinda funny about Korean cars... but it was really nice, and the $$$ was right! Plus... I have 48K miles on the warranty to figure out if something is wrong with it!

Today I am trying to get all my done, so I can pack for vacation tomorrow. We are planning to leave Friday around 2...yeah!!! I can hardly wait to sink into that hot tub!

Thank you, thank you , thank you! I'm having a little trouble thinking that in FIVE years I will be 50! YIKES!

My bestest little brother surprised me with a visit in between his appointments this morning, and Dana & I are going to now sit by the pool and read. Tonight we are going to "The Melting Pot" for dinner. YUMMO - dark chocolate fondue for dessert - with champagne, of course!

I'm just uber stressed right now with it being the first week. I have a teacher who thinks 3-5 pages is short. She's crazy. Someone whose old enough have a few drinks for me. I have so much to do and so little time. Though I am coming out my shell more and meeting more people in my classes and actually going to my first football game next Thursday. I've been at Tech three years. I'm going to cover the tailgate with my partner in crime for yearbook and two other classes. Oh did I tell you guys my college is playing Auburn. Can we say here's the platter, serve us fried and crisp?

Oh it will. I have a midterm due during my start of fall break. I have a term paper due week before thanksgiving. It's going to be stressful. I'll get through it, a bit crazier and looking forward to a small party even if it's just movies and pigging out.

Sonya... CONGRATS!! Keep an eye out for a good deal on a Disney western cruise for me! (Oct 08) We are going to Maggie Valley, NC. It's in the NC mountains between Asheville and Cherokee. I will be needing that hot tub... it'll be my family, Wynn's brother and his wife and 3 girls, and Wynn's parents. What is tough is that his mom is a "better mother" to my kids than I am, and therefore feels allowed to overrule me. She also takes that opportunity to point out to Wynn that I am too hard on Tucker, and yell at him too much. Did I ever mention that Tucker is the favorite grandchild, and can do no wrong? Even when being a complete donkey's rear? Let's just say I will earn that hot tub and mixed drink! My consolation is that my sis-in-law is every bit as sorry of a parent as I am, and we commiserate together while letting MIL take care of the kids! Hey... she asked for it, after all!
