Kari - Glad to hear Avery doesn't have any broken bones. Kids and their accidents. Alec falls a lot just because he doesn't pay attention. He even almost lost a tooth. It was so gross all bruised up in his gums. But it's just wiggly now and he's happy because he has not lost any teeth yet for the tooth fairy!

Renee - I'm glad that the weather cooperated enough for Dana's party. Mocha looks adorable as lifeguard! Today is supposed to go in the 90s.

Kari- I used to have the same water restrictions, except we couldn't water our lawn, but could wash the cars every other day (depending on what side of town you lived on). We didn't have a pool, so I'm not sure what kind of restrictions they had. Also glad to hear Avery seems OK

Oh this is extremely funny! For any of you who are reading my TR, you saw that I changed my hair color to a more darker, extreme red. I posted a picture. When Rob saw me, he said that the first impression he got was that I looked "Goth". So, some people thought it would be funny if I put on black lipstick and look that way. Well, I didn't have black lipstick but I did have black cherry and I tried my best to look goth for everyone. Check it out...

DM: High 80's here today, tomorrow is 90's and very humid. Of COURSE, we have to go to the high school for Freshmen Mass & picnic! lol

My uncle is the superintendant of the water department one town over, a couple of years ago they had a 100% ban on watering lawns except to grow new grass. well one guy in town had green grass when everyone else's grass was burnt. Everyone knew he was watering his grass, and because he was pretty high up the political latter in town, people assumed my uncle was just turning the other cheek(even though his own lawn was burnt). Do you know my poor uncle had to hide outside the guys house for three straight nights before he finally caught him at like 3am watering the lawn?

Kari: Dana was the one who noticed it - I so wish I had the camera near by - it was SO CLOSE to the sliding glass door. Mocha, of course, went into GUARD-DOG MODE, and barked like crazy at the poor thing and it flew away.

DM: spiked hair and a few tattoos maybe?.... You are a KARY KARY person....

Rags: we have the same water restrictions as Kari - with NO WATERING on the 31st of the month or any Sundays. And it has NOTHING to do with lack of rain! Dumb town we live in!

Starting to wonder if I should be offended???

We get green tree frogs on our glass door. The kids would sit for an hour sometimes watching them catch little gnats. (The frogs were only an inch long.) First we had about 3... then they started disappearing. Apparently, Star liked watching them, too!

Renee- glad to hear that the party was a hit and love the lifegaurd. He's a cutie.

DM- The before was the better of the two. Last fall Haley had a sleepover and the girls went to the bathroom together and all four came out with the gothic look. Haley didn't like it, and took it off after she showed DH and I.

I haven't talked to you all in a really long time. I have been really busy. My new house had not been unpacked since I moved in June. So I have been unpacking. Comcast came and started my service so I just got my computer up and running. I hope you all have been doing good. I have a lot to catch up on!!!

After a week of pretty nippy, dismal weather, today was gorgeous, but we had to go out and didn't get to use the pool. Figures!

We went to Dana's high school for a special mass and dinner for the incoming freshmen. No air-conditioning. YIKES, it was hot!!!

They did a really nice job - and Dana got to meet some new people.
The school president asked us to "bring up the gifts" at the mass, so that was a very nice honor.

Can't believe my baby is going to HIGH SCHOOL!!!!

I start classes back Monday. I'm excited and ready to get back in the swing of things.

I have a very nice schedule:

MWF: History & Law of Journalism 1:25-2:20
M: Advertising Copy & Layout 6-9
W: Interpersonal Communication 4:30-7:15

Then I have an online history class. Not to bad.



We were at Kroger's today and completely clueless to the fact that HM tickets went on sale today. Apparently they went in two minutes. Playoff tickets didn't even go that fast.
