Good morning DIS Stalkers!

Just a quickie this morning as I have to get ready to go to church and this will be a busy day. I am making a must stop to Walmart today, along with Target and BJ's Wholesale. Then we have dinner at the inlaws to celebrate Rob's 40th birthday (his birthday really isn't until Thursday). Can anyone say yum to homemade Italian sauce and macaroni? Yea, we don't call it pasta - it's MACARONI.

Maybe I can sneak in a few more posts in between church and shopping...

The wine was very nice last night. Now you all have me wanting ice cream. My favorite flavor is black raspberry. So question of the day:

What is your favorite flavor ice cream?

Because I haven't been on since I left work on Friday, I'll try to catch up:

We leave at 7:05am on the 18th, fly back home at 1:40ish on the 28th (since we are ending with a cruise, don't have much of a choice)

We had our wedding shower last night, so I did alot of walking around (good for disney ) even more (thats my impression of thanking everyone for coming- all 250+ of them! ) Way too much - this is my food refernce. (I seriously have never seen so much foor at one event in my life, we had 2 SUV's filled with just desert!). and finally way, way, way too much


I think I am all caught up- now I am off to my fiances house to write up all those thank you cards!

Happy Birthday to Rob! The big 4-0... I hit that four years ago!

But, OF COURSE it is called MACARONI!! And while you are at it, it really isn't "Italian sauce", it's GRAVY! (Can you tell who is 100% ITALIAN?!)

As a matter of fact - even the DOG loves it... it's the only "people food" he gets to try... He doesn't respond to "Come!" or "Here!", but all you have to do is yell, "Mocha want a 'RONI?" and he comes running like a nut!

Favorite Ice Cream? Hmmm.. I love it but it "doesn't love me", so I have to be careful... but probably "Jamocha Almond Fudge" and OF COURSE DOLE WHIP!!!

Rob thanks you for the birthday wishes... When I told him that someone wished him a happy birthday from MY boards he asked if it was Courtney. Darn him...that crush is get bad!

I'm not the Italian one - I'm half Russian and half mutt. Hubby is half Italian and half Irish. I'm glad you know about the macaroni. Everyone always assumes that we are having mac n cheese when I say it's macaroni night. I've heard about the "gravy" instead of sauce reference but his family has never used that. They just say sauce. I'm hoping for cavatelli - it's my favorite of all the 'roni's. I am happy that I married into an Italian family. It's so yummy!

I am the one who always did and does the thank you notes. Rob never even thought of helping with it and I pretty much like it that way. I like the fact that Scilla is starting on the thank yous already. One of my pet peeves are people who don't even send out thank yous.

What's on the menu for the reception?

My favourite ice cream of all is Macadamia Nut Haagen Daz, but I cant find it ANYWHERE in the UK apart from London thats 200miles away.

So coming second is Mint Choc Chip.

My favorite ice cream is Java Chip made by Starbucks. It's really good!

Also, the Disney shows are coming on in 15 minutes on the Travel Channel. (Well, 1:00 for me, 2:00 for most others) I can't wait to watch them. I always miss them.
