What are the diser's opinions on the Lights, Motors, Action show. Should I plan to see it, or will I be unimpressed?

Well we enjoyed it. We saw it when it first opened and then again with friends this past May. It was very fast and furious and we enjoyed it...It was hot in the stands in May .......NO seat is a bad seat either...

We enjoyed it also. I think you should see it once. We're going back again in a week and I"m not sure we'll see it again only because of the heat. Find a set in the shade when you go.

Agree with previous posters. It's a really neat show, unfortunately it only runs a few times a day due to the length, and will be cancelled if it rains. After 3 trips to the world since it's debut we were finally able (barely) to catch it in April. I say barely because we were literally running to get into the theater before it started. That said, we were also able to get great seats beacause, as PP said, there is not a bad seat. Our DD's had to stand to see over a concrete wall, but we were front and center. DOn't know if it's worth catching twice though unless they make periodic changes to the routine.

but, I have an opinion that may not be the popular one.

Again, the show is very exciting and I enjoyed it. HOWEVER, I would rather it NOT be there given the fact that it takes away from the Backstage Tour and the Osborne Spectacle of Lights. In my opinion it's a fabulous show, but it's not worth the detriment it has done to these two attractions.

The backstage tour just isn't the same without residential street. Not to mention it is WAY shorter. And the Osborne Lights are now on NY Street vs. residential street and I definitely don't like it as much. The original Osborne lights by the Osborne family was in a residential neighborhood. Plus, there was something special about strolling through the neighborhood that just isn't there for me on NY Street. Maybe because in my real life I'm a country dweller, not a city dweller. I don't know - it just isn't as impressive to me.

I don't really want Lights Motors Action to go away, I just wish it wasn't placed where it is so that two other attractions suffer.

Just my humble opinion.

You'll enjoy the show - it's mind boggling and like the other poster said, there isn't a bad seat in the house. My favorite part is "surprise star."

DH 'liked' the show, but the girls and I were not impressed. However, this had as much to do with the oppressive heat, the humungous crowds, and the extreme slowness in filling up and then leaving the too-high bleachers as it did with the not-so-great show.

My 6 year old son loves it, he wants to see it on every visit. I personally think it would be better with less talking and seeing Herbie, and more stunts.

I thought it was "ok" but the guys in the group loved it!

I agree & think that things like heat & long waits to ride an attraction can negatively impact your impression of a ride or show. There have been several times that this has happened to me (or one of my family members) & so we always try something we didn't care for more than once & more often than not we end up enjoying it the next time (& the next, & the next &........;) )

This is a great show to see & I think you'll really enjoy it. Try to sit in the shaded areas of the bleachers, if possible & bring water and/or a fan, as it gets very hot sitting there. I believe that there are large fans up higher in the bleachers, if I remember correctly. Also, I believe this is still a 'fast pass' attraction & so you might be able to get a pass to the show that you would like to see, but I'd avoid the mid-day one, if possible, when the sun is blasting down on the seating area.

My DGf and I thuoght it was pretty cool, but once is enough. It doesn't have the re-watchability status. I'd rather see Indiana Jones any day.

I didn't think I would enjoy it, because I'm not a big racing fan or really into cars. We went on a REALLY hot day in June and it was great! We were able to sit up in the shady area of the bleachers, which helped, but the show was so engaging that I really didn't think about the heat. I thought it was interesting to see how they film these car chases that you see on TV and in the movies.
