Diser's for CMO!

Just for fun: Did anyone see this video submission? And, does anyone think she's potentially one of the "unknown" semifinalists?

I had forgotten about her when I posted some of my female favorites earlier in this thread. (Plus, I probably would have been hesitant to mention her anyway, since the video opens with heavy animation. As we all know -- for a while there -- the mere mention of the word "animation" could get a DISboard poster flamed! ;) )

She definitely fits that "fairy godmother" image I referenced earlier - without the extra pounds. ;) And, she does seem to have the personality and "acting chops" to do the job!

Thoughts? Comments? (... Snide remarks? ;) )

Yes, I thought this one was definitely going to be a contender, esp when we heard about all the animation. However, personally, she reminds me too much of the Mom's panel and I think they are trying to create a much different image for the CMO.

Valid point! (Now that you mention it, I've noticed that most of the female finalists tend to be on the younger, college-aged (?) side. Not that there's anything wrong with that! ;) ) Still, I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn that this woman (Amy Kate Connolly) advanced to the second round of the CMO contest. 'Just a thought, since we're throwing them out there... :)

Welcome Patrick & Michael! Your videos are awesome! :thumbsup2

Anyone think CareerBuilder.com, Disney Parks, etc. folks will be working tomorrow on President's Day (and if so, if they'll be making certain important calls?)?

:upsidedow

Thank goodness I’m not alone in seeing this trend. Very frustrating for those of us past “The Ingénue Stage” of life.

One thing I did notice about the eldest of the known women finalist...She looks pretty darn great when she gets out of bed and does that stretching thing. I thought a little too sexy for Disney but I guess not.

CUT OUT GUY ROCKS!

Patrick,
As you must know by now, we all think you are brilliant! :worship:
My entire family is super excited that you made the finals.
We watch your video everyday just for a quick little laugh.

GOOD LUCK!

PS- we haven't forgotten you Justin;)

Thanks. I can't seem to get the link to work, though. Has anyone else been successful? :confused3

I couldn't get it to work earlier but shut down IE and tried again and it worked...

brady -- I like the "willing to work x number of days a year" while you sit back on your chair! :rotfl:

Way to go "Red Headed Mustache Girl"!
My teens and I loved your video!
Especially the "Booyah" bit...too funny.
Good Luck.

Wow . . . there's a lot less activity on here on a night when we're not vying for a mega millions jackpot! :)

Ok... then lets get revved back up for the Mega Millions. The jackpot is $220 million on Tuesday night!!!

So... I'm upping the stakes and upping the entry requirements:

If you enter and I hold the winning ticket... you will receive the following (changes in bold):

7 Days 6 Nights at Deluxe Resort for you and 5 guests (more if your family is bigger)
7 Day Park Hoppers with Water Park Options
Dining plan with Wine and Dine Option
$2,500 toward airfare (so you can go first class, as is your birthright!)
$5,000 spending money

This will take the prize up to... well... alot more! (Guessing in the $20,000 range since it will take two rooms to hold all those people.)

Bigger prize means bigger entry requirement. You have to do two things:

1. Go to erickidwell.net and send me an email via the front page of the site. In your email, include a joke to cheer me up for being 12th out of 13 in Brady's ratings.

2. Become a part of The Penny Project. You need to pass out three "lucky days" To do this, just leave three pennies in high traffic areas, even around your house. Just make sure they are heads up! The idea is that when somebody finds the penny, they will feel lucky. Get it?

Anyway... get those jokes in to me by Tuesday at 11PM EST to enter. I'll post the Disney friendly ones here. The Penny Project part of the entry is on the honor system. (Edit: don't forget to give me your DIS screen name if I don't already have it)

First entry... first joke, from LuvsTink:

A guy goes into a biker bar and says gruffly: “Whose pit bull is that out side?” A big, burly biker stands up and says “Mine…why?” The other guy says…”Well, my dog killed it”. The biker looked astonished and said “What kind of dog you got?”….the reply: “A toy poodle, your dog choked to death”

FUNNY! and you are in for the big prize. (cross your fingers!)

Marshay joins the Partay with two good Disney jokes:

1. Which princess is really a 4 ton mammal?
Cinderelephant

2. Cinderella's middle name was going to be Mozzerella. Yep, Cinderella Mozzerella...but then her parents thought that was too cheesy!

Cute! My daughter can't wait to get to school tomorrow to tell those!

Two more entries.. two more laughs (thanks guys!!!)

DISGeeksfromDC brings us:
Q: Why doesn't Cinderella play soccer?
A: Because she always runs away from the ball (and she has a pumpkin for a coach)!

and Circusgirl entered with:

A blonde calls the fire department and says, "Come quick, come quick, my house is on fire!"
The fireman says reassuringly, "We'll be right there ma'am. We just need to know how to get there."
The blonde says (in exasperation), "DUH! Big red truck!!"

Thanks to both of you and welcome to the DIS Lotto!

Hahaha Thank you so much!!! I'm so glad you all liked it! It's funny what a little bit of mustache can do for your life!

So - I had this idea that really made me laugh, but I was afraid people would potentially be offended, so I didn't share it. I just had some feedback that changed my mind, so here it is.

I was going to make a second video in honor of the disappointment of the 1280 people who didn't make it into the top twenty. It was going to be called "Chief Disappointment Official" and would show an applicant in their mouse ears at their desk on February 6th and 7th staring at their Mickey phone and checking their email while the hands on the clock on the wall went around around and around. The next scene would be a rainy day yard sale with the applicant selling all their Disney stuff ("Everything Must Go! Prices Slashed! Make an Offer!). Then, the last scene would be a take-off on the career builder commercial where the building is smashed after the job holder realizes they have a terrible job and runs away. The logo in the bottom corner would read "Dreambusters.com" and the building that gets smashed would be the castle. Too graphic for those of us who love Disney completely, but anyway the idea really did make me laugh so I'm sharing it with you.

tothesea is in (and funny)

Two blondes had driven across the country to see Disney World in Florida. As
they approached it and got onto the final stretch of highway, they saw a
sign saying "Disney World left". After thinking for a minute, the blonde
that was driving said "Oh well!" and started driving back home.

The hits just keep on coming!
