I went through the same operation (same side and everything!) in September and I'm doing fine. It is not anywhere near as bad as you have imagined that it will be. Trust me - you will be fine and will get through it all and still be able to smile all the while.

If you want someone to talk to, PM me. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have or just encourage you. I had a lot of wonderful people from these boards help me through. You have more "friends" out there than you know!
