Sorry I have been MIA- Our computer has been acting up and it is a pain to get to anything on internet without it restarting. the amazing this is MY DH is a computer programmer???!!!!! So I dont know why our computer is always the last to get repaired.

I am still trying to figure out if I could get to any other shows, Since Vegas is out for me.

But it was just SOOO much $$$ to fly from Dallas to Vegas, then hotel then the cheapest concert tix was 100 each- which put a basic trip over a 1K for DH and I. That didnt include food, gambling, shopping- So I made the "grown up" choice and said NO.

So maybe I get Houston tix from Sister and DH will take me somewhere else for my Bday. (But I am not holding my breathe).

So If any of you are coming to Dallas- I will see you there.
Almost 100% on Houston too. But I have to wait till Bday to get my tix (July 2).

So I'm back in my little NKOTB withdrawal mode, but can I just say Friday night was AWESOMEEEEEEEEEE. So here's my little recap:

We got to the Courtyard Marriott around 1 in the afternoon. I have to say, while it was pretty dreary and drizzly most of the day, around the time of the 5* the clouds cleared and sun shone. It was great. So we got ready and left for the venue a little after 3:30. We were supposed to be in line at 4:15 and the Comcast Center is only about 5 minutes from the hotel. We were among the first 50 in line I guess since we ended up with Group E. We got to the tent, and it was the lamest bbq ever. I mean, I really didn't truly care because the point of the whole 5* is not the party to me, but apparently this is what a bbq meant for the Comcast Center: fruit, cheese, crackers, chips, and salsa. Huh? :confused3

We ended up having to buy food before the concert because neither one of us had a chance to eat earlier in the day.

It wasn't long before they started calling groups, and we were in the earlier ones as I said since we were E. The guys were set up in a separate tent only a few feet away. We got up to the tent and all of a sudden Donnie steps out from the backdrop, looks at my group and goes, "I'm really sorry guys, but I just don't feel like being here anymore, so I'm gonna go, but you can see the other guys." It was hilarious because he couldn't even keep a straight face for it. So then we're allowed to walk up. I was the absolute last in line for my group, which I hate, lol. So I patiently wait for the few people in front of me to move through so I can get to just one of the guys. They were lined up Danny, Donnie, Jordan, Joey, Jonathan. I happened to be wearing my t-shirt I bought on the cruise, Danny takes one look at me and announces, "Oh, we got a CRUISE girl, here!" And gave me a big hug. Now Donnie was surrounded as usual, but as soon as Danny said that he kept trying to get my attention which was hilarious. He was looking at me from afar and waving as he was being mobbed, lol. Picture time! So I was standing beside Danny for the photo, which was fine with me. I don't really care who I stand beside so long as it's a New Kid of some kind. After the picture, Donnie grabbed me and pulled me into a giant hug. He kept asking (meaning the cruise) "Didn't you have so much fun?" And rubbing my back. So I let go, and security is already pushing us out, and I still had 3 New Kids to get to. I'm soooo not pushy or confrontational so Jordan is standing there looking at me, and I'm afraid to do anything or get in trouble. So I give him a little wave and say, "Hi" in this SUPER high-pitched voice. WHY? I don't know. So he starts smirking and mimicking my ridiculous voice going "Hi, hi, hi." And reaches out for a hug. And I quickly said thanks, the cruise was fun, I played in the feud. And Mr. Blue Eyes himself was beside me, hugs me. I told him thank you, thanks for the cruise, I played the feud with you. To which he responded, "Ohhhhhhhhh." And then Jonathan comes up huuuuuuge smile, "Hiiii sweetheart!" Big hug. Swoon. And I was out. It all sounded a lot longer than it actually was, but it was fantastic. Definitely worth it.

When we got out tickets, it said we had row J, which I was slightly disappointed because I thought it meant row 10. Which obviously wasn't bad, but I couldn't understand how I ended up in the last possible row when the on sale time was 1pm, and my order confirmation email is timestamped 1pm. Well when we got inside the center row J (for section 3) meant row 3 right on the aisle! Score! The show was fantastic, not that I expected anything less. They really outdid themselves. I have never screamed so much at a concert. I had no voice the next day, and honestly, I screamed so much it felt like I had done 5,000 sit ups. You could tell the guys thoroughly enjoyed being home. They were all sooo happy. At one point Joey looked over to Donnie and mouths, "What the f*ck?" As in "Are you serious? Do you believe this place right now? This is crazy." One of my FAVE moments of the show was Joey's solo. The lights go down, and when they went up again Joey was holding little Griffin wearing noise-cancelling headphones. That little baby is SO FREAKING ADORABLE. I just want to squeeze him. Joey looks like such a proud loving adoring father too it makes me just melt. :lovestruc

Put thought bubbles on it. I'm completely serious. He tweeted that people needed to get creative with their pics and thought bubbles and that's what me and my sis shirts looked like. I'm positive that's how he spotted us!!

I just listened to an interview with Joe and he said they are taking at least a year off. :sad2:

NKOTB and planning NKOTB trips has been such a nice distraction from Brian's deployment. Looks like I need a new hobby!

Well that explains the tweets he sent today. I had no idea what he was talking about.

It's not going to be nearly as exciting without NKOTB around for sure. It makes me wonder how I got thru the last 20 years without them!

It was the inerview with KISS FM in Boston, I don't have the link handy cuz I found it on Twitter.

We have had some nasty weather this afternoon. It was HOT early, heat index of 110 hot, so the kids were going to swim. I got the cover off, the kids got in and 20 minutes later the storm sirens were going off because of a tornado warning. Nothing more than a thunderstorm came of it but the clouds were CRAZY. Now it is sunny and a lovely 77 degrees. Maybe we will try the pool one more time!

Look 7 rows behind you on Saturday, thats where I'll be in row L. We just got tickets for Detroit on Thursday, I don't know what I'm thinking, Im gonna be dead come Indy for our 5*. Oh well gotta get as much in as possible since I dont know when the next time I will see them will be.

Today is no service fee day on Livenation. They have a 4-pack of tix for Tinley Park for $12.50 each total, which includes the parking fee. And they were reserved....way in the back, but still NOT lawn...for that price! :rolleyes1
