So I was thinking about the cancelled shows. Are they really doing it because of production delays or because of weak ticket sales? It seems odd that all the shows that were cancelled are in the southern states...and their cruise is leaving from Florida...something just doesn't seem right.

I would think if it were weak ticket sales, the date swould be more scattered. The ones that were cancelled were the first 6 of the tour. It definitely sounds like a production delay. Hopefully everyting is in order so there aren't more cancellations. We looked into getting West Palm Beach and Tampa tix, thinking if we are doing a destination concert we should make it a good destination, and those shows were close to sold out.

Trying to get fired up for tonight, I am going to Omaha to see Billy Joel and Elton John. Going with my mom. I am having a hard time getting excited even though I Billy Joel! Maybe it is because I will be stuck with my mom in the car for 3 hours there and back. Wish we could stay there tonight, but my mom has to be at work in the morning for a meeting. Sure she will bring her A game to that one after getting only a couple hours of sleep! Last time I was at the arena there was when Sadie lost the diamond out of her ring at the NKOTB show. Hopefully the evening isn't that dramatic tonight!

6 total! I know, I love Billy Joel, so I am not sure why I am not excited. Think my darn ankle probably has something to do with it, too. Hopefully we are in a "lame" section with a lot of people sitting down so that I don't have to worry about standing on my gimpy leg all night!

I've been lurking mostly due to some stress! Well I have a crappy weekend to add to everyone else's injury filled weekend. DH and I lost our baby at 11 weeks. What a mess! I told him he needs to take me to WDW now!

I am SO very sorry to hear this. I saw your post earlier on my phone and it drove me crazy that I couldn't respond immediately. I'm here if you need me, my friend. And I do believe you're right...he needs to take you to Disney ASAP!!!

Heather, I would LOVE to see Elton John. Five years ago, he scheduled New Orleans and then rescheduled because he was sick. Then Katrina hit and and it was never rescheduled again. Stinks because I had primo pre-sale tickets!!

ilovefh, sorry about your loss also. I went to the doctor this morning after reading your post and the nurse wanted to know if there was any reason as to why my blood pressure may be slightly higher than normal ... I had been thinking about you! Things work out in the end, remember that.

Kimberly, you MUST take pictures of some of the outrageous outfits on pajama night especially! I can only imagine Your dress is beautiful! I bet you will look gorgeous in it...make sure you get pics! Oh, I'm SO excited for you! I can't wait for your stories and pics! Good luck in the poker tournament. I hope you get to play Donnie! It looks like the itenerary doesn't leave much time for the concert and the q&a session. It will be a very short concert....for the $ you paid it should be a whole regular concert. And 15 minutes for q&a??? One person will get to ask a question! It still sounds like lots of fun though!

You're so sweet! I love that dress...second one I tried on. I will be taking loads of pics...I'm sure many will include some, ahem, interesting ensembles shall we say. Hopefully I make it to the final round to play Donnie, but I'm not putting too much faith in my chances. I'm not half bad, but I'm sure in a ship of 2,000 they'll find a handful that are far better than me. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky, though. Definitely not a 15 minute Q&A. Group A (my group) has the Q&A start at 8. Group B has dinner at 8:15. We'll still be at Q&A while they are eating. The next event after the Q&A for that night is Group B's concert at 10:30, so I imagine the Q&A lasts 8-9 or so, then the guys can get ready for the show. That same night the deck party starts at 11:15, but I think that's just so people in Group A have something to do while they wait for Group B's concert to be over, which I would guess would be around 12ish. We should have close to a full concert. The itinerary is scheduled so that each group has something to do while the other is doing something NKOTB related.

On the cruise, I thought I read that it is full length concerts, separated into 2 groups so that everyone can be accomodated on deck. There are other activities happening at the same time, though. Just what I read on the other board. Kimberly... is that right?

And to those of you whose concerts were cancelled/rescheduled, sorry to hear that. Sounds like the guys do want to try to make it up to everyone based on Jordan and Donnie's tweets last night. They've been going at it tirelessly for all us fans for a year, and I'm sure the last thing they want to do is disappoint. I'm sure they made the difficult decision to postpone so that when they do the show, they'll do it right. They wouldn't want to give everyone less than what they think we deserve.

Whew! Lots of catching up. Hope you all are having a relatively good day. I still feel like I have 8 million things to do before I leave.

I'm sorry to hear that! When I had my miscarriage (I was only 5 weeks though) we planned a quick trip to WDW...it was a great distraction.

I was not near a computer yesterday when the NKOTB tour changes were posted, but I quickly got a panicked voice mail from my NKOTB friend. We had 5*s to Birmingham and Atlanta - Birmingham was completely cancelled, and Atlanta was rescheduled.

But it should work out okay. The rescheduled Atlanta date is only two days before we leave for WDW, so I will be driving home the day after the show and immediately packing for a drive to WDW. More rushed than I would have liked, but at least I'm still able to go to the show, which is more than some can say.

And since Birmingham was totally cancelled, I Love All Access offered us an upgrade request if we already have tickets for another show. We had just bought tickets to Memphis last week, so I have requested an upgrade for that show. I don't know whether we'll get it, because the 5*s were sold out, but maybe they are planning to expand the meet and greet in order to accommodate some of us whose shows were cancelled. If the upgrade comes through, they will refund $125/package. If not, we'll get the whole 5* price refunded.

I feel badly for those fans who won't be able to see a summer show due to these changes, but I am certain the guys will do all they can to make it up to the "dirty South".

Can't wait to hear stories and see pictures from the cruise! A selfish request though . . . please, can someone get a picture of Jon shirtless???

Ok, Shelby pointed out on FB that I never gave everyone the exact story of how Nicolas broke and busted open his finger. He was in the back yard and we have (had!) a fountain that had cement retaining wall blocks surrounding it as the border. The blocks were just stacked and he managed to pull one off the top and I guess it pushed his hand all the way down to the patio (they are very heavy) and landed on his right ring finger. I was out there with him and was playing with Fuzzie just a few feet away and saw it but it happened so fast that I can't recall exactly how it happened. I saw it coming too and couldn't get over to him fast enough to prevent it. I feel awful! Needless to say, Doug tore the fountain down the day after that happened. I know we can't blame ourselves, but we just keep thinking that we should have known better than to have that fountain and should have realized that could have happened.

We just ordered our NEW tix for the Virginia show. Now, we are on the side towards the back of the front floor section. <sigh> I had 14th row and before I could click to buy the stupid website kicked me off...I was SOOOOO mad!!!! GRRRRRR

Oh well, we have tickets, we'll get to see them, so I should be happy.
