Shelby, I know the feeling. My mom can be that way too. But at least she realizes why we never have them over. If my house was larger, I'd definitely have people over more, but it's not, so it is what it is. I LOVE my mom and she is one of my best friends, however....she also drives me BATTY! She can be very much like your dad sometimes. My dad on the other hand is the most laid back guy you'll meet. LOL Probably one of the MANY MANY reasons they divorced. She is too high strung, can't sleep in past 6am, always "busy" etc. I swear, the woman makes up stuff to do so she can seem busier.

Ok...confession time. Our dining room is toy central. Our table is shoved up against one of the walls in the living room, which is where clothes baskets end up. Yeah, we eat dinner on trays most of the time. Sad, I know, but such is life right now. Our 2 story house is pretty small for 2 adults, 2 kids and all their daggone toys that people insist on buying for them. If it wasn't such a mess, I'd take pics and show ya'll. LOL

amyup - I'm the same way. I don't feel like getting it all organized to have people over. I'd rather just go out!

Erin - You do what you gotta do, right? My 3rd floor is a playroom, my hubby's office and my laundry room. There are ALWAYS piles of clothes to be washed, other clothes to fold, etc.

Trust me, I know how you feel!!!

Drama girl is now following me! It is going to take a lot of restraint to not say anything to her! She keeps calling Joe a jerk and asking for an apology. What I find funny about her is tghat I think she actually believes he is seeing her tweets and is just ignoring her.

How was everyone's day today? Mine was nice and relaxing. Becca has a cold so we skipped church. We had a nice turkey dinner, Noah and my hubby went fishing earlier in the day, we watched BOLT and just hung out. Very peaceful!!

I'm confused about the "Close to You" song. I don't think I even knew it existed before I saw it over on Twitter. Is there anywhere to get just that song? It looks like on Itunes you have to buy the entire album to get it?

Just stepped on the scale this morning so I know my starting weight. I'm pretty sure the scale whimpered. It was THAT bad. Let's just say I now want to lose 30 lbs. It seems so overwhelming. But I'm going to take it 10 lbs at a time. I'm really going to need you guys to help me!!!

Aw, Shelby, I'll cheer you on since I can't lose any freaking weight over here due to "medical reasons." It is driving me nuts I can't go with the hardcore workout ... not just because the doctor said not to, but because I am always tired.

I am drinking straight water and eat low sodium today to try to get some of this water weight off of me in time for the doctor's appointment tomorrow. Not sure if any of you have been to a crawfish boil before, but it has potential to swell you up like a balloon for days afterward. My wedding ring is still making an indention in my finger!

Love that video! I downloaded the CD on itunes just so that I could have that song, it is my favorite! I already had 2 copies of the CD when I bought it
