DISer chapter of NKOTB anonymous, part deux... we don't want an intervention!!!

Hi!!

Does anyone mind a newbie joining in?? I was at the portland show -5*. I was by myself but had a great time. Didn't get to say much to the guys but at least I got some hugs.....

I so need the summer dates to come out - I need a "do over"
my mom thinks I'm crazy - but I know you guys would understand

I need a do-over, too. I didn't do a 5*, but met them all at an event before the CD came out. I told Danny his shirt rocked, could barely talk to Donnie! I need a do-over in a big way!

We talked about that too in Manchester! In Portland we noticed it was a free for all as far as who got to stand by the B stage. So we're hoping to be up close to the B stage and get a little high five or something!

Don't be afraid to throw elbows if you need to. I call it the "New Kids trance" and you will see the girls i am talking about when you are down there. They have glazed over eyes like zombies and they are the ones that do all of the pushing! In Denver we were in the front row at B stage thanks to our pal Robo. The fencing around the stage nearly fell over because people were pushing so much and Sadie come darn close to hitting her head on the stage. Thankfully the "mom before seatbelts instinct" kicked in and I stuck my arm out and saved her head!

Have I mentioned how much I miss Robo on this tour???

Make sure you go back to B stage when during Games or when they start singing If You Go Away. Any earlier they will send you back to your seats, any later will be too late.

when I met them they were sitting at a table... Jordan, Joe, Jon, Donnie, Danny. I did fine with the first three,was even witty with Joe, but as soon as I got to Donnie I was star struck. I am sure that poor Danny probably got alot of stupid comments that night sitting at the end!

Girls...I have a knot in the put of my stomach. Tonight is my friend's viewing and I'm taking Noah. (since he's very good friends with her son) I don't know how he's going to handle this. Heck, I don't even know how I'm going to handle it!!! I feel so sick just thinking about it.

OMG, OMG, OMG...I just have to share with someone who cares, because my coworkers don't. I JUST GOT FRONT ROW FOR THE GREEN BAY SHOW ON APRIL 7!!!!

I bought tickets when they first went on sale, and got like 20th row on the floor, but I just happened to be looking again today, and awesome seats kept coming up! I ended up with front row, but way off to the right side as you are facing the stage. I'm sooooooo excited!

i just realized we are already on page 31 of this thread and we just started the new one on 3/13. At this rate we will be starting part three in May!!! We are gabby!!! The next person with 5* needs to tell the guys about our fab thread... and tell Jordan that we have someone on here that knows him from Boy Scouts! Are you still out there Pooh's Pixie?!?!?!?!!!

About an hour or so from Conway. It's in Tilton and called Smitty's Cinema. It was Chunky's.

DH and I saw a Harry Potter movie there two years ago...what a great place!

I really want to but I can't talk anyone into going with me. Even my BFF won't go with me because she's afraid that her husband will be pissed. I don't want to go and sit by myself. I guess I'm just destined to wait until summer tour and do 5* again.

But have fun, I know it will be a great show!

I want to go so bad, but DH is being a stickler for not using the credit card...and, I broke my laptop this morning (totally my big fat temper's fault) so now's not the time to be bringing that up.

I want to do 5* this summer if they come back to MA but I'll probably have to get a 2nd job to pay for the tickets because I don't work in the summer (happy teacher here).

Welcome! How did you enjoy the 5*? I don't know that I'll ever get to do one so I live vicariously through everyone else!

I so think that I'll never get a 5* either, so the more pics the better! I, too, am currently living vicariously through everyone here. Crystal's awesome story made me a little giddy!

Well girls Manchester is out for me. I would have to miss another day of work which I'm pretty busy right now. But hubby said that I could totally do 5* again this summer and see as many shows as I can get to. I need to get front row for at least one of them too!!!

So all you ladies that are going to Manchester have a great time. Tell Jordan and Donnie I said Hi, and I'll be seeing them again this summer.

Until summer I need to see pics, pics and more pics of these boys as soon as you ladies are home from your shows. I know we have several of you going in the next week or so, so don't forget to put some updates on here and on your facebooks so I can sneak peaks of those hotties from Boston.

Thanks! We are row 4 left section for Des Moines. Another good view! Yay!!! Was row 5 the actual 5th row or did they remove a row for the stage?

I think I may have lost my mind. Yesterday the ProjectNKOTB girls message me to see what the plan is pre-concert in Des Moines. I told them I would get back to them. Somehow between that email and today we have started planning a pre-concert fan meet and party at a bar & grill near the arena. Also trying to raise money for rememberbetty.org at the party. As if I don't have enough to do! Now I am event planning with a little over a week until the concert!!! I hope a ton of people show up and donate a ton of $$$! Makes me feel good that the part of our nixed contest entry that we really wanted to do might still happen.

Donnie just updated twice in the span of a minute. According to his latests, apparently no, he does not sleep. I would pay to be asleep right now. I hate these 7-3 shifts!!!!

Make that 3 times. He's gonna use up all my texts.

I turned off my text messages from Donnie! The man doesn't sleep, I do. My phone makes an obnoxious sound when a text comes in. Wasn't working!!!

I hope a ton of people show up, too! I just entered another radio station contest. They are taking a group backstage. You have to tell them why you want to meet NKOTB. I said that as much as I would LOVE to go backstage, I would love it even more if I could raffle off a backstage pass to raise money for rememberbetty.org. We shall see what happens! Wish me luck. I think we could raise some serious $$$ with that!!!
