I was just driving home from the grocery store and was listening to NKOTB CD (of course) and all of a sudden it just hit me like a ton of bricks. I am going to meet them. Holy freakin' crap!!!!!! I gotta hit the gym, I gotta start tanning (because everyone knows that tan fat looks better than pastey white fat), I gotta make a hair appointment right before so I can get rid of the little sneaks of gray that are popping out, AND I gotta get a cool new outfit. After all there is only like 2 months left. Oh my gosh I am really excited.

Last night we went shopping for my hubby so he could buy some clothes and then we went out to dinner. Then Becca and I had a Girl's Night. We had a tea party with desserts, watched a movie and she slept with me. She LOVED it. This morning I heard/felt her get up, fix the covers on her side of the bed and then adjust mine on her way out of the room. She is SO sweet!!

Ok Shelby your post makes me feel awful! It seems like my dd5 and I cannot get along lately. It's like we're oil and water all of a sudden. IDK. She is so dramatic and gets so overworked about the simpliest things. So then I tend to get upset and it's a vicious circle. Ugh. I'm having a rough time right now. I feel like the world's worst mom.


Dana I'm sorry to hear about the set back with Eric. I hate that you couldn't get the pics of the parade. Although I'm totally ok with not seeing them.

OK, girls, since I can't get all excited about going to a spring show sad, I threw myself into booking our December trip yesterday. I have an email pin that has been burning a hole in my pocket.

So, we already have AKLV booked for five nights, but we need a place for the three-day weekend that is our actual five-year anniversary. We are ready to splurge, GF, MK view! So, the CM tells me GF IS avail with the code ... a two-bedroom suite. Um, yeah .... I don't think so. Geesh, I thought MK view at GF was a freaking splurge!

We ended up getting BW, water view. Hopefully, AP rates come out and we can move to GF, but BW works since we got married there. The only thing that stinks is the CM only booked the first two nights since those are the only ones that fall in with the pin. If I wanted the last one, she said it would be a whole different reservation, hence a one-night deposit at RACK RATE! No, no, no.

Anyway, I'm being sneaky. I'm going to call today to see if we can add a night to the reservation and get away without having to pay again. I'm hoping it will work because the CM had told me when she put in for all three nights, it booted out our pin, but now that we are locked in, hopefully ...

Girls...I just went shopping and I'm so depressed now. Nothing fits right because I'm just not proportioned right because of the weight I gained, I swear I could cry. I feel SO low now. I was even looking for something to wear to see NKOTB next month, finally I gave up. I think I'll just wear a muu muu.

Oh Shelby, turn that frown upside down and use it positively! I know it is hard, nothing really matches clothes not fitting correctly. But it gives you motivation! You can do it ... buckle down.
Think of it this way ... every time you go to put something in your mouth that is unhealthy or when you are not hungry, think of how you felt trying on clothes. Then say "Is what I am about to eat REALLY worth risking that again??"
I try to think in terms of the one thing I hate to do ... the elliptical. When I am seriously buckling down, say, if I grab a Snickers, I'm like "No, this requires about 20 minutes on that torture to get rid of the calories and it sure in the heck is not worth it!"
Needless to say, the homemade No Way Jose I just made seemed worth it at the time. Now, I am feeling it! ARGH!

Oh, btw, my plan worked with Boardwalk!!! I called CRO and the last night was added to the current reservation ... no problem! Grant it, that last night, I will not be saving $180, but at least I did not have to fork over another deposit!

Yeah, I don't think weight comes off as quickly as it comes on. It's so enjoyable to put it on too and such torture to take it off. How unfair!
