My husband has suggested that we go as two couples. My friend and I would go to the concert and my hubby and her hubby would go elsewhere. If that's the case and he likes that idea, then we're going to go to Baltimore. There isn't enough for two guys to do in Hershey!

I hope you go Shelby!!! My sweet, sweet guy has said that he might buy the tix for me and he'll go. With my iPod in his ears. As nice as that is...I'd rather take a friend. I just don't think I'd have as much fun with him, KWIM? I might have an "in" at the Hershey show. My cousin's friend works at Hershey Park and has a friend in the box office at the Giant center. She already called and he told her that he might be able to get her 4 tix in the 16th row when they go on sale because 1-15 are already reserved. We'll see.....

If nothing else, I'll be waiting for my tax money and trying to get tix on ebay. Yes it will cost more, but like you, I'm afraid that I'll regret it in case summer dates aren't anywhere nearby.

I think that once we all know if we are going or not, we should try to meet up with those that are going!

I'm still undecided. But I also haven't spoken with my friend yet to find out the whole issue. We're supposed to talk tomorrow, her hubby won't be around.

I'm trying to make an educated guess on 5* ticket purchasing. I know it's a chance of a lifetime to get to meet the guys. BUT, I've also heard some stories that it is 100 women at a time and the m&g is only 5 minutes long. Has anyone actually done 5* that can give me some specifics.

Ebay is a great way to score cheap tickets, but the best seats that I had for the shows last fall were my ones that I got for St Paul 2 nights before the show on Ticketmaster. They hold back a lot of great seats for VIP's, and when it is clear they won't be used they are released to the general public. Most concerts that I attend I typically purchase the tickets this way. A little secret between you and me!!!

I am not sure if we will do 5*. I know people who did several last fall and they had mixed experiences. The only one I am considering doing 5* is Baltimore, since it is on my bday. I cannot think of a better way to spend my birthday! Even better than last year when I went to see Bon Jovi on my birthday!!!

I would love to know the details too. I am feeling the same way about 5*, I know it is a once in a lifetime and that is all I have thought about since the last concert I went to. But I still need to do a little more savings (which isnt going to happen by Thursday when the 5* tickets go on sale). So maybe I can do 5* for one of the Summer dates.

I AM SO TORN with all the options. LOL

I've seen 5 Star pics and there are 10 people in a group. 2 people per guy in the pics. I've never heard that there are a hundred women! That would be crazy.

I'm undecided if I want to go at all at this point or wait for summer dates. I'm just not sure if I want to hold out hope that they're coming to AC again. I just don't know!!

For me, I'm ONLY going to go if I do 5 Star. Probably because I'm totally spoiled from the shows last time. I just don't want to go unless I'm right up front.

What hotel were you looking into?? I have our room reserved at the Hershey Lodge but if there's something cheaper that's decent I'm okay with that too! Did you find anything good??

I was looking at a couple of Marriotts. I'm a TA and I'm lucky because I can get them for like $45/nt. There's a Courtyard starting at $90/nt and a Fairfield Inn starting at $95/nt. Those are AAA rates but if you don't have that, it'd only be like $5-10 more for the night.

I hope you work everything out and get to go!!

Anyway, Jason and I finally joined NetFlix last night. Did you know you can get NKOTB, Greatest Hits: The Videos? Yeah, I pointed that out and I don't think "someone" was on board.

The people that I have talked to say that they take your camera away from you before the meet & greet, so they couldn't take pics. So I don't think they pictures are an option. I've seen those pictures too, but not sure how they got them.

They do take your cameras. But the group that organizes the meet and greet are the ones that take the pictures.

We're going to BALTIMORE!!!! WOOO HOOOOOOOO!!! My hubby and my friend's hubby will hang out at a Sports bar or something while we're at the concert. YIPEEEEEEEEEEE!!! And my friend gets special deals at Marriott so a room that would normally cost $339 is only costing us $59!!

Can you tell I'm excited???

We have decided that the $ isnt right for either of us to do 5* to this concert, we are going to hold out for Summer dates.

Yikes!! That's horrible. I can't imagine getting there to find out that you can't get in!

Baltimore is definitely a go. My hubby is good, my mom is okay to watch our kids over night. We are ALL set. Now, I just have to get those tickets!!

I'm sure you're right. I got Kenny Chesney tickets last summer (he's the only country person I like) off of ebay and it was fine!!
