I just booked us a room for Hershey. I'm more worried about that than booking one for Baltimore. Hershey doesn't have THAT many hotels nearby. Baltimore has a TON.

I think I'm going to book a room in Harrisburg. It's 10 min west of Hershey and I can leave work early, check in, beautify myself, and head to the show!

Talked to my friend this morning and she said she and her hubby got into it about the NKOTB concert. I sure hope he comes around. I'll be so bummed if I can't go with my NKOTB buddy!!!

Ugh Shelby that sucks! I just don't get it. I couldn't imagine my dh giving me a hard time about something as mundane as a concert. With all the thing that are wrong in the world and all the awful things that can happen is it really worth getting so upset about a few concerts?

Shelby dont worry I am having ISSUES with my BFF husband too. Now he is saying he doesnt want to go to Bossier City, LA. (plan was husband could gamble while we went to concert). Which means my DH will not want to go. But both of our husband have said they would RATHER us not go by ourselves. So agree to go already, it isnt that big of a deal.

One night, one day off of work. No biggie. Wives happy beyond belief when they return to hotel rooms- I mean what more do you need.

I don't get it either. It's not a big deal. I'm just glad MY husband truly gets it. It took awhile though but he REALLY gets it.

Still I have to say, every time I think about actually meeting them I feel sick!! I don't know how I'm going to get through it.

Grrrr...why can't the tix go on sale in a couple of weeks??? I won't have the money for tix until then. I could so easily go to Baltimore and Hershey, but noooooooo, not this early! I'm hoping for summer dates nearby. This stinks. So close, yet so very far. Being unemployed really is the pits.

What's with all the DH's?? My DBF rolled his eyes when I told him I was probably gonna see them again but he would never stop me from going. He actually got me the tickets for my 2nd show! These guys have some NKOTB J-E-A-L-O-U-S-Y!

What hotel were you looking into?? I have our room reserved at the Hershey Lodge but if there's something cheaper that's decent I'm okay with that too! Did you find anything good??

This issue probably isn't the concert itself, but money. Especially if they are going 5*. I mean, really, $500? For most people, that is a lot of money. A whole lot.

Aw, that's too bad. I feel for her. The only objection my dh would ever have to anything I wanted to do is if it cost too much. Even then, he's usually okay.

That's what I'm doing to. Last time the night before the Chicago show I found 2 8th row tix for $239 on ebay. I watched the price go down a couple times a day starting about 3 days before the show. They started out at about $400 IIRC.

I'm probably only going to be doing 5* once. I am *hoping* to go to more than one show though. For those I'll probably go the ebay route. Although if I get my one 5*star I may not be able to stop.

I'd go with dh before I'd not go. I read over on the NKOTB forums (I think it was there) where a dh went and he wore a "happy wife, happy life" T shirt and the guys loved it. Gave him high fives and laughed about it.

I don't know what to do. I feel so badly for her!! I know she desperately wants to go. My hubby would be bored out of his mind. Then I'd be going into the meet and great alone and would probably keel over.
