DISer chapter of NKOTB anonymous...join the party *ahem* intervention!!!

Oh!! Ladies!! I made it!! I made it to the NKOTB concert last night!! and man I am still on Cloud 9. I got REALLY GOOD SEATS!! that I can actually see them sweat! yippy! They played for a good 2 HOURS!! love it!! and they played all there hit songs!! Summertime, tonight!, step-by-step, and there closing song was Hanging Tough! Jordan even sang his own song Give it to you!. OMG! Oh. and Joey sang his song sorry.. ladies not sure what it is called but he sang beautifully??... I had the best time of my life. . they really put on a GREAT! show. However much you spent $$$.$$ on your ticket it is SO WORTH it!! I SO dragged my DH with me and he told me he has a great time, just seeing me happy. I got a really great shot of Jonathan and Jordan together on stag, but I am sorry ladies I have to wait till I get home, work has block us from downloading onto photobuck so I won't be able to share it just yet, but I will post it soon. I was only able to take a few pictures because I forgot to charge my camera (I am such a ding-dong?) and I am really good about charging my camera, but I still got great shots of all of them together. They are coming back to CAli, at the Nokia Center and hopefully.. will go to that concert too! just to see them one last time again . (and of course make sure my camera is fully charged te-he!)

Lora...how did you manage to only get 4 people in your group picture? From what I've been reading, the groups are huge, like 10-12 people. Really cute pictures though you lucky girl!

My friend and I decided to get 5* for Milwaukee, which was still available as of last week, but when we went to do it, it had sold out!

Oh well, hopefully they will tour again, we'll know to grab it right away!

I'm not sure how it happened. The groups had gotten all mixed up for a while so maybe they were just separating us from the other letter groups to make it even again? I didn't even realize that there were only 4 of us until I saw the picture lol. That's what a daze I was in.

I think that is sad that you can't bring your camera anymore.

Yup, it is. Wait until almost the end of the song, they will start playing this video tribute to family and friends who have passed away. When that starts, make a break for the back. We had no problem getting back there.

Yes it is TRUE, last night I went to the Staple Center Concert L.A. and I meet this girl and she had the meet and greet and was really trying to keep herself calm about the whole situation but deep down inside should could not help it!! she was so excited about the whole expirence, she told me that no you can not take pictures with your personal camera and they do take your pictures with the camera provided and you have to wait 2-3 weeks for it She did tell me that they do a raffle for a t-shirt?

It sounds like you had an awesome time at the concert!! OK, so when they move to the small stage, can anyone on the floor move to it, or do they only let certain fans over there? I guess every venue's set-up might be a little different, but just in case we aren't front row for the main stage, I want to have a plan to get to the small stage. From the concert pictures I've seen so far, it looks like there are great views to be had .

Thanks! I saw them at the Meadowlands last month but there's something special about seeing a show at MSG, in the middle of Manhattan.

I'm so glad to know that I am not the ONLY 30-something mother obsessing over NKOTB again! My best friend and I went to the show in Rosemont (Chicago) on 10/4 and had the time of our lives! I was actually Google-ing for cheap NKOTB tickets (trying to justify how my kids can go without THAT STUPID Wii for Christmas for me to get to go again....HA!) when this thread popped up in my search! I had to laugh...the obsession is even on DisBoards!

I agree with what I've read alot of the posters saying on these NKOTB threads...the show was awesome! I've never been to a concert like that before in my life...and NKOTB was my first concert (18 years ago)! The energy is UNBELIEVABLE! I've been high on New Kids all week!

Enjoy the show if you get to go! And trust me, you don't need the 4 star or 5 star to have a great time! You'll have just as much fun if you are sitting in the rafters!

I was at that show too! Not sure how close Milwaukee would be for you, but have you considered going to that one? They have some tickets for sale for $22.50 right now - its called the four pack, or something like that. I don't think they are the greatest seats...but cheap if you want to go again! I'll be at that one too! I'm trying hard not to give in and buy tickets for the Rosemont show on 10/24.

So tonight is the Phoenix concert. We arrived early to the arena. Found where the tour busses were and stood around. Pretty soon Jon comes out. Then we see Joe's wife. Then Joe and finally Jordan. Later we were walking around and ran into Joe!!!!! My heart stopped. We got pics with him!!!!! Seriously I am so happy. If you follow the link to my blog you will see pics. More to come as the day goes on. I am on cloud nine. This feels so surreal. 20 years.....

When my friend and I go again we plan on going VERY early in the hopes of running into them!! When they came to Atlantic City they ate in the same restaurant we were eating at, didn't know it at the time though!
