I had them playing the other day while I was cleaning. My DD5 was in the room playing. I left to go do laundry and when I came back she was cracking up. Then she said to me, 'It's not about being soft, it's about being smaaaaaart - you SUCKERSSSSS!' She said it exactly like Donnie. It was too cute!

OK, girls, I was dragging my feet (mostly because my life is crazy), but I finally bought my Houston tickets! WOO HOO! My friend who is going with me is just as excited as me (if that is imaginable).
We did spend some time just now on the NKOTB Web site looking at some of the merchandise ... what's up with some of that stuff? I can't believe they have "updated" giant pins! haha! The locket is the best! It reminds me of a Michael Jackson one I had when I was three!

FOLLOW UP:
Oct. 16 is not only the KNOTB concert in Houston but it is also the day Disney comes to town for the "What will you celebrate?" tour, just blocks away from the Toyota Center! It's like I have died and gone to heaven!
I will have to keep my eyes peeled for any "special guests."

It's funny, we're going to the Caribbean with our kids for Thanksgiving but the excitement for that has taken a backseat due to the KNOTB concert on 11/7. People will mention our trip and I'm like yeah, uh huh...but we're going to see NKOTB on 11/7. They look at me like I'm nuts. (well, some of them do, some...completely understand)

Where ya going in the Caribbean?



Watching Jordan on the Surreal Life was just painful. I'm not sure what the deal was but it was bad. At the time I sure Ryan looked at Jordan like a washed up boy bander. Wasn't she pretty young when she was on American Idol? I didn't get the feeling she was a big fan. Was he married then? Oh I hope not! That is a big turnoff.

Ever since their concert I've felt like a kid again. I was talking to my friend the other day (she was with me at the concert) and I mentioned NKOTB and 90210 in the same sentence. We both started dying laughing! But we were talking about the concert and the show was coming on then. It was like a complete flashback!

That is so funny. One day last week I watched the VH1 Special on New Kids and then watched the (new) 90210 that had tivo'd. I told my dh that I knew I was old because everything I used to like is new again.

We're headed to Beaches Turks and Caicos. My hubby and I have been there 4 other times but this is the first time for our kids!

I sure hope Jordan wasn't married when he did that show. That would irk me. Because he was definitely hitting on her. Although his agent or whoever was completely putting him up to it! Like that was going to make Jordan look better.

Whoever thought we would be talking about NKOTB and 90210 again. Too funny!!

I just watched the Rachael Ray that I DVR'd this morning. Man was that girl excited! I was so happy for her I got teary eyed! Sheesh. LOL

I just saw a bit of Jordan on that recently, via YouTube. (yes, I am constantly looking up everything related to him) I was wondering about him hitting on her too, I thought he was married then. Wasn't he??

On the other hand, what was wrong with Ryan??? Game or no game, he's HOT!!!! Unless she knew he was married????

Was he married then? I'm not sure if he was or not. I thought he may have been with someone but I'm not sure he was married. Not that it makes him look any better if that's the case! He also said the Olsen twins were hot to Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey), of all people That did not go over well.

Ryan seemed like a little be-yotch anyway!

I went to see him in Hartford like 3 or 4 years ago and was two feet from him in a small club. It was one of the best nights ever.

lol During the concert, I was waiting for him to hit that really high note at the end but it didn't happen!! Can he go THAT high anymore?

Yup, it is. Wait until almost the end of the song, they will start playing this video tribute to family and friends who have passed away. When that starts, make a break for the back. We had no problem getting back there.

The other night, I was watching my recorded 90210, then I put on the concert portion of the NKOTB VH1 Special, just so I could see them do "Single" again (LOVE IT). My husband turns to me and says "Is it 1991?"

I did some online checking and here's what I could find. Jordan got married in September 2004 and was on the Season 3 of the Surreal Life in 2004.

So that clears up nothing. From nosing about online (I'm bored) it seems they have had a long, tumultuous relationship. I don't know. I guess I'll not worry about it and just look at this fine photo I came across during my "investigation".
