angey - how'd the cookies go? Did you let your hubby help? I love anything having to do with baking. It's one of my favorite things to do!
Heather - I'm so sorry about your kids being sick and pneumonia!?!? WOW. I hear you about sickness developing fast. Two years ago on Christmas Eve our daughter, Becca had to go to the ER. My kids are the type that are happy even when they're very sick so sometimes you don't know they are sick until they are REALLY bad. Anyway, she was acting fine and then all of a sudden on Christmas Eve day she started to go downhill, by dinner time we knew we had to get in touch with our Dr. We ended up going to the ER and she had tonsillitis, a double ear infection and a sinus infection.

It was horrible! But they gave her an antibiotic shot and sent her home with some meds. She woke up on Christmas morning happy as can be, enjoyed every minute. Sorry I went on and on like that! I guess I just wanted to give you hope that she'll be great by Christmas! They bounce back fast!
lovemickeya - can I ask you some advice? My neighbor's son has Autism and I just don't know what to get him when it comes to things like Christmas and birthdays. Any tips you could share? He's 8 as well. I would rather give him things that I know he can use or he'll enjoy, you know?
Well, it's so peaceful around here. Becca and my hubby were both asleep shortly after 8pm. (my hubby didn't sleep well last night) My son, Noah was up until 10pm. That's a late night for him on a school night but they're barely doing anything in school. So, since 10pm I've been relaxing and enjoying some time by myself. I'm just sitting here enjoying the tree and checking in with you guys!
Hope you all have a good Thursday!!!
Shelby
P.S. Did Brae's Mom give us details about the trip yet and I missed it??????
