Well, I'm sure glad that I found this thread. It has gotten me through the dull times from my concert to my Disney trip. So I hope we can "hang tough" until summer tours happen!!!

I haven't even started packing for the trip yet and we leave our house at 2 a.m. Friday morning. Guess it's not computer for me tonight.

Here's some more fun for our day.

My mom was at my house about a month ago and was downloading some of my songs from ITunes. I looked over and saw she had every song from The Block. I tauntingly said "Oh, mom! I had no clue you were a NKOTB fan!" I think she downloaded it because I would not shut up about it and my dad thinks it is hilarious that I went to the concert (whatever!).

Fast forward: I was at my parents' house for Thanksgiving and my dad brought up my love of NKOTB again. Then my mom told me she has some nurses she works with who are in their 30s and they were looking through her ITunes and were like "OMG! You have the new NKOTB???" She said they all wanted a piece. My mom must feel so cool now.

Everyone is feelin' the love for NKOTB I guess. I asked my daughter to do her Christmas list for me a couple of days ago and the first thing on her list was the pink NKOTB sweatshirt that they are selling on their website. She's almost 9 and there is nothing funnier than to see her and my best friends daughter singing I'll Be Loving You Forever at the top of their lungs.

Okay, so I just watched the guys on the American Music Awards again. (I DVR'd it) I noticed a couple of things. First, did anyone else catch it where Jimmy Kimmell said that in 1998 they took the country by storm? I'm assuming he meant 1988! Also, I was totally thrown off when the guys came up in the beginning and Donnie wasn't out front. I just like it better when he's in the front showing off his tough guy face. AND last thing, why didn't Jordan have a hat during Please Don't Go Girl???

Just some Wednesday morning NKOTB ramblings. ;)

hmdavid suggested I join this thread so here I am..

My name is Stephanie and I'm a New Kids aholic!

The happiest part of my week was buying "Merry, Merry Christmas" on iTunes so I can now enjoy it during the holiday season! :)

One of my prized posessions is an autographed copy of "Face The Music" I got in 1994 when I first came to school in Boston. I waited 7 hours in the middle of January, in the freezing cold. It was worth it though, even though I made a fool out of myself in front of my favorite Joey.

Anyway..nice to find some linke minded ladies out here in cyber land who still share my love!

Oh yes..I've seen and enjoyed!

So happy to hear they are going to tour again next year. I didn't get to go last time because my NKOTB friends live in Colorado (where I grew up) and I didn't want to go alone, but I have one friend who said if they come back we will go.

I wanted to get Merry Merry Christmas last week when I was shopping and I forgot! I'd love to hear it. I have it on tape but no tape player!

I haven't gotten to see them yet either. Me and Danalee. (I think, right?) We can now add you into our whine/wine buddy list.

Do you suppose he realizes how ridiculously hot he is???? Like when he looks in the mirror does he see what I see, because if he did he wouldn't be able to look at himself in the mirror without.......well.....you know. Also have I mentioned how much I REALLY like his belly button. I know.....sounds crazy, but I'm a belly button girl.

Sorry girls we haven't had any pictures in awhile, thought I would change that. AND I know we've seen this one over and over again, but really does it ever get old. I don't think so.

I just had to post because Jordan lives in my town, and I was never into the NKOTB (sorry, I think I am just a wee bit too old), but I see Jordan all the time and it is just cracking me up to see this photo. I mean, his son is in Cub Scouts with us! :lmao: I may not be able to look at him again without a smirk on my face.
And sorry to burst your bubble but his wife seems very nice. :rolleyes1

Carry on, this is like my Duran Duran obsession when I was a teen!

OK girls, with this I have had my "Tiffany" moment. So funny that you see him at cub scouts......let him know I love his belly!!!!!!!!

BTW, what town did you say you lived in........and what night is cub scout meeting. I could be an honorary member just for one meeting right???? Just kidding.:rotfl:

OK, I have an active imagination right now and I am picturing this scenario at a Cub Scouts meeting:

Pooh's Pixie: "Hey, Jordan, I just LOVE the pics people post online with your shirt wide open blowing in the wind, and then read a bunch of 30-something-year-old women cutting up and carrying on."

Jordan (with a red face): "Oh my God ... oh my God ... where is this? The NKOTB forums, I'm assuming."

Pooh's Pixie: "Oh, on the Dis boards. These chicks talk about crotch-grabbing, stalking you outside of the shows, threats to have their butts kicked at concerts, their husbands laughing at them, their hatred of Tiffany and this is the best ... they have been making babies with you and your friends online and posting them!"

Jordan: "WHAAAAT? What a bunch of freaks! I might have to check that out for a good laugh."

And then, we are all busted.

Haha, I'd better not tell! Seriously, he is really quiet and introverted (it seems) so it is cracking me up to see his public persona (sans shirt!!) even though I know he is, and was, a pop star!
Needless to say, he hasn't been at Cub Scouts much lately, World Tour and all...we were joking last spring when NK announced their reunion, maybe they could have debuted at our Blue & Gold Dinner! HAHA!

No, no, you're secret is safe with me! Promise!:thumbsup2

My goodness do I have a lot to catch up on today!

First... welcome to the thread, Stephanie! My siggie is looking a little unfestive and I would love a dancing Christmas tree:rolleyes1

Another welcome to Pooh's Pixie! If only you had come on the thread before my encounter with jordan in Denver I might have had something intelligent to talk to him about instead of rambling like an idiot!

And, Angey... the first thing I thought of was our baby-making, too!!!

Anyone see Invincible? I'm watching it now, Donnie's bro is the star! :)

I can imagine that Jordan is a shy person in normal life, but when he is on stage he is ANYTHING buy shy and introverted. That's why he is a true performer.

That is so crazy that you know him! OMG. I remember someone posting before that lives in his town about seeing him at Babys R Us all the time. I just can't imagine.

I have no problem with his wife being a nice gal. I'm glad she is. I can rest better (on my Jordan pillowcase!) knowing he is married to a "nice" girl rather than a total "B".
