I haven't been on this thread in a while. Today it's supposed to be 108 here. Halloween, cooler weather, and Disney all just seem so far away right now. :sad2:

Maybe it was a fluke for me but when I went to MTOTP last year on Oct 22nd it was SO hot!

Did anyone else decide on costumes? I am too lazy to read back. :)

I don't think so, but some are wearing shirts only (mouse13). I think I am wearing my Alice one again, but Brianne wants to do something fun, funky and non-disney. She mentioned being a piece of fruit or something? I don't know, she's young and cute and can get away with "random".

Yep, she sure can. Taylor one year went as a spiral notebook. She designed it herself and James and I helped her make it. Turned out adorable. But shes young and cute and can do that sort of thing. I would look like a dork.

Howdy ladies!! I am still trying to get there in October. I don't want you to forget me and all.

So I think that when everyone knows what they are going to be, we should have Brigette post it on the front page. Ummm.....maybe that is already the plan. Guess I should look there first huh?

I think I'd like to be Mary Poppins in her gray overcoat look. Not the white dress one. Or.........I remember last year when we were teasing Wendy about something, (when were we not teasing her?), and someone mentioned the old crazy lady from the "Sword in the Stone." You know the one with lavender hair and a purple tutu of sorts. Now that would be funny. At least I think it would be.
Or us older generation ladies should dress up in the Mouseketeers outfits, and pretend we are Annette Funicello.:woohoo::yay::cool1::cheer2: I know I just spelled her name wrong. How about that? I think I'm liking that one. :thumbsup2

Dork - Me too, *heavy sigh*

I would love to see a pic of her.:)

Mel, you would be perfect as MP. You have the tiny waist, pretty eyes and smile and could scurry around muttering "Spit-Spot!" to everyone. Really, that would be a great outfit for you.;)
And I miss WendyLouWho. Where is she? And how is she? Enjoyed Vegas I hear.

Yep, she had a good time. You will have to hear all the details from her though. Or wait till I get to the juicy parts of my trip report.

I would like to go out for a crazy or wacky costume but then I wouldn't fit on the rides! :lmao:

I went as Cat in the Hat a couple of years ago and the Queen of Hearts.

I love all of the costume ideas! :thumbsup2 I just tie-dyed a lab coat and want to wear it to the Trick or Treat event. I just have to decide exactly what I'm going to be....a mad scientist or hippie doctor or something like that......and then get the accessories to go with it. I'm counting the days.....

Now that it appears my whole family wants to go to Mickey's Trick or Treat party, I have to configure it so we go the same weekend as the meet is scheduled! I don't think it will be too hard considering we will definitley be going on a Friday or Saturday. Hopefully my little sister's fall break coinsides with our meet. :thumbsup2

Yes, indeed I do have business to attend to, but I will get to that very shortly.... now I have to go head to my massage appointment in the spa tower of the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street. Vegas here I am!

The milk carton, very funny - and original!
It will be so fun to see what everyone decides on.:)

With all the excitement and crowds over the new Fantasmic show, I think I want to do the dessert seating. Brianne is leaving Sat afternoon after Beth's dinner so I think I will join the ladies (and their families) signed up for that. Bridgette, you can add me to the list after you end your travels and settle in. Go and enjoy that massage you are going to!:thumbsup2 And YEAH! Cristabel is coming.

Hurry up October!
All of us Divas want to meet up and party Disney style.:woohoo: I love summer, but I hope it goes by fast.:)

I love summer also! Thankfully I'll be in DL in 3 days then again for my birthday. With starting school, settling in, going to see my 2nd fav band live on the 22nd, going home in end Aug-beg Sept, DL for the expo and then on the 18th of September.... it'll be here before I know it! I better get on the costume thing... I'm still partial to that $98 polka dot dress.

Did anyone else decide on costumes? I am too lazy to read back. :)

I've decided, but now I can't decide if I want to break the bank to buy it

Brianne would make an awesome piece of fruit! I saw someone who went as a bag of grapes awhile ago. They filled purple water balloons (or reg. ones 1/2 full) with air, got a big plastic bag (you can get them at art supply stores that sell large sheets of 2 ply mat board) and tie it off around someone.

Yep, she sure can. Taylor one year went as a spiral notebook. She designed it herself and James and I helped her make it. Turned out adorable. But shes young and cute and can do that sort of thing. I would look like a dork.

Spiral notebook.... that's priceless :rotfl: I love it!

We haven't forgotten you, Melody! I'm sending magic pixie dust so you can come! :wizard:

I think a costume idea section is a great idea! I'd be happy to make a little area that says what we have either chosen to dress up as, or what we all might want to be, with links to example photos. I could keep it simple. PM me if you want me to add you and the links for photos or costumes. I'll also research some online costume places and post links to help all of those who are undecided or stuck.

Awesome! Just be sure to let me know who all you want me to put down for which event. :cool1:

Pulling us up! We were at the bottom of the 2nd page. Too close to the 3rd page for my comfort!

I'm still hoping to make this trip with Stacie! I have no clue on costumes, and honestly need to wait and see if I need to factor in a bigger belly. :thumbsup2 I might have to do something last minute.

I love the grapes idea, I've seen that one before. Last year, DH and I had planned on going to a costume party but both children decided to get their one and only ear infections ever that week. I still have that one tucked away, but it wouldn't be as cute without Brucew to wear his half. We were going to be bacon and eggs.

It's still in the package.
