I have just booked a trip to wdw for next easter with dd 10, staying at asmo.

For a birthday present my dh booked a day at discovery cove for us to swim with the dolphins.
What is the best way of getting there as I am not driving ? and does anyone have any tips about what to do or take to the park.

I am so excited as it was one of the things I wanted to do before I die, I only have about 25 yrs left

Thanks:Pinkbounc

Can't answer yor question on transportation, I drove when we went. I was the one having the dolphin swim and all I took was my swimming costume. They supply everything else you need including dolphin friendly sunscreen. The only other thing you will want to take is plenty of spare cash cause you will want to buy all of the pix.

You will have such a great time.

A taxi from All stars resorts to Discovery Cove is about $20-$25 each way. A cheaper alternative would be to make your way to the Ticket and Transport Centre and wait for the numbr 50 Lynx bus which will drop you off at Sea World at a cost of $1 each. Once you get to Sea World look out for the I-Ride Trolley terminus where you will find a direct line phone through to Discovery cove where somebody will come and collect you in a jeep.

When I went to Discovery Cove in July we used Mears to get there. Cost was $12 round trip. We were supposed to get dropped off at Seaworld but the driver took us straight over to Discovery Cove.:D When we came out someone from DC drove us over to Seaworld in a very nice jeep.

Whereas Mears charge per person round trip or single, I have always found taxis to be a better option for us as there are four of us. But in Nee's case she would be better off using the Mears Shuttle as there are just the two of them.
Apologies for putting you on a bum steer.

Thanks so much for your replies.
mears it is then and as we get a free ticket to sea world, we will have to venture out of wdw again later in the holiday
