Discovery Cove, without reservation?

We will be in Orlando next month and don't have any plans for our Saturday day. In the back of my mind, I think, what if it's 75 degrees or warmer and sunny? Can I get in DC that day without a reservation or paying a big price? I have seen the prices go up as the park fills up....but the end of January, I would think they may want a few extra guests. We would not do the dolphin swim. Any thoughts or ideas? We have been to DC a couple of times so it's not a must do. We really love the birds.

Hard to say.
The end of January are the cheaper tickets ($229 dolphin swim/$169 day resort) I guess that is non-peak

Maybe log on to DC one of these Saturday's when the weather is nice and see how availability looks, just to gauge prices. Also keep an eye on end of January prices this month.
