On Tuesday, April 12 starting at noon ET, Discover America is offering Discovery Cove - Swim with Dolphins tickets for $175 (limit 6) or $157.50 with American Express card that are good through December 31, 2011. Also includes an unlimited-use pass for up to 14 consecutive days at your choice of SeaWorld Orlando; Aquatica Orlando; or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

See https://dailygetaways.discoveramerica.com/Calendar.aspx for more details about what you get with this offer.

I know nothing else about this deal, but thought I would share it since I'm sure some of you are looking for tickets.

I got two for Discovery Cove. I went back at 12:02 to try and get Sea World tickets for my parents but they were gone. I think one of the problems is that they were limiting it to 6 per person and you don't have to pick a date, you get the ticket and then call for the date. This would be perfect for people or ticket companies that resell these things. I think they should have limited it to 4.

I'm hopeful for those that didn't get it that they'll have other deals. American Express has released $50 off codes for the past few years, maybe those will be released soon.

nothing so far :sad1::sad1::sad1:

needed 2 tickets and clicked buy right at 11am. this was my DS (18) only b-day wish :sad1::sad1::sad1:

I think the whole thing is a crock, I hit it as soon as it flipped to 12 and got nothing

Well that was a bust, darn it. On to plan B (AAA), although I called and even though the price is lower than buying direct ($189), the date we want isn't up for them to print tickets for yet. Guess I'll have to keep checking.

Nothing here, either. I never even got an email notification.

Dissapointment here as well. Tried since before Noon and continued trying until they sold out. I kept getting 'try again' message.

Same exact thing here.

Seems pretty scammy that nothing even said how many of these were going to be sold, but know I now it was so few that it was totally sold out in the first 10 seconds

I tried from 11:59 on....kept clicking the try again...till 12:26 and they were all gone...I think it was a crock too! That is really disappointing.:surfweb:

Wow, I had no idea there were so few tickets. I started hitting refresh about 11:58 and was able to put 3 in my cart right at 12:00 and complete the purchase. I'm extremely happy I was able to get the 3 I did for my family.

Where are you getting the $189 deal?

Yep the online was a bust for me too. I began trying at 11:58 to get 4 tickets and kept at it until the I got the sold out message.

No luck here, either. :(

I started trying at 11:58 (well, 10:58 here), and I was able to put 2 in my cart... then it loaded forever, then went back to the same page. I did this two more times, then I started getting the "already in people's carts" message. Then, finally, the "sold out" one. Oh well, wasn't meant to be for this trip.

By the way, I did read that there were only 85 available, so I wasn't surprised that I didn't get in. Those of you who got them should be all :banana:/

:)

AAA for the southeast. It's on their website under attraction tickets. I'm not sure if this applies to all regions though, since it always asks for my zipcode when I log into aaa.com.

Wow I lucked out, started refreshing at 10:58 CST and was able to get 4. Email confirmation was received within minutes

I was lucky enough to get 6 tickets to Busch Gardens for my family. I received my email confirmation. Should I have received anything else or do I just take the email to the ticket office on the day we want to visit?

Thanks
Kelley

From another thread I was able to see that you receive an email from Johanna Hetrick. I had received the email but accidentally deleted it.
