Because there aren't enough threads with that title in here :lmao:

We're going to Orlando in late August. We haven't book DC yet but want to do it early in our vacation and we want to prepay given the Amex discount. Given that it's prime hurricane season, does anyone know what DC's policy is around inclement weather and rescheduling?

Also, what do they do around afternoon thunderstorms?

Do they have beach towels there or do you bring your own?

I know they used to limit the number of people/day. Do they still do that?

TIA :goodvibes

1. In the event a named tropical storm or hurricane approaches Orlando, Tampa, or a guest's hometown, the parks will reschedule resche·ule
or refund any vacation package and/or individual park tickets booked through SeaWorld or Busch Gardens Vacations. The parks will not apply any cancellation or change fees for this service. However you will not be able to reschedule say for a cold front or a thunderstorm.

2. They stay open for thunderstorms. They pull you out of the water while lightening is in the area.

3. They supply everything. Including beach towels, fish safe suntan lotion, snorkels, goggles, wet suits, shampoo etc.

4. They still limit the daily attendance which, imo is one of the best things about the whole experience! It is such a different park experience. It feels so relaxed and luxurious. No nickel and diming you to death like everywhere else.
