We've just received our tickets for DC (yet more cause for excitement :woohoo:) and although the DC website states that everything (FOOD - breakfast, lunch and snacks/drinks) is included and the back of the tickets says the same, the accompanying letter seems to suggest that although lunch is included, breakfast and snacks etc are available at extra cost.

We were at DC last year and the all inclusive day was just great - particularly with hungry teenagers.

Can anyone clarify the apparent ambiguity?

Where have you got the tickets from? Maybe the company you bought them from have old letters they are sending out frOm about 2 years ago when it was not all inclusive.
We book direct with DC as we get discount with our SW AP's but dont even get a letter just show our AP's and credit card we paid with (last year they didn't even ask for that just our names).

when we went last year it was no problem, we ate and drank when we wnated for nowt. and thats why we have booked again this year, not heard that they may reduce the dining options to lunch only. have you tried emailing them.

Went in january, got breakie and lunch with all snacks so i don't think you need to worry, Also a little note, if you get the dolphin Rascal, he lives up to his name, we had fun with him, and had a fab day, have done it twice, and would deffo do it again, hope you have a great time on your trip

Thanks for your replies. It was really as I figured. We booked through attraction tickets direct who price match, and I was confused because the accompanying letter was a download from the DC website, although it must be out of date - strange.

Alibaba, this will be our second visit too. We had such a marvellous, perfect day last year that it has become a must do now. :thumbsup2

Great news tony.

Yep, everything is included, although your having so much fun you forget to drink and eat! :lmao:

Are you doing the trainer for a day, I highly reccomend it!

Think this is absolutely correct, we went two years ago and only got lunch and drinks whenever we wanted so looks like the all inclusive came in last year.
You will love this.

Just one more thing for anyone going with children...when we did this our oldest was 8.
The jackets that you are given can rub young skin particularly under the armhole area...the jackets are sleeveless. His skin rubbed and it got very sore so much so that when we got into the sea water later with the Dolphin he actually started crying for a few minutes. Needless to say this spoilt the experience....if we had worn a tee shirt underneath I doubt this would have happened.
The experince was wonderful although spoilt by this, his skin was red raw when we looked so please take my advice and put a tee shirt on younger children. We will absolutely do the dolphin experience again in the future it was a wonderful day. Worth every penny.

Hi,

We just experienced the very same thing when we got our tickets through.

My wife phoned Discovery cove directly and spoke to a very nice lady at the other end (arent they all !). She told us that yes indeed everything is included.

She even went on to advise us to get there early enough for breakfast (continental style). Then she advised that we may want to go to dinner as soon as it opens and then go back again just before it closed !!!

She neglected to mention that we may need to bring the next size up pants to go home in !! popcorn::

DS had already discovered this one all by himself. Fortunately, despite his appetite, he is one of those lucky people who will "graze" all day every day without putting on a pound. Me? I'm already working hard - and will be until 3rd July - to try and lose a pound or two (!?) because I know that three weeks in Florida will unquestionably prove too great a temptation. I guess you know what I mean. :rolleyes1
