Discovery Cove Picture Package

Going next week for our first visit to Discovery Cove and just thought about the pictures with the Dolphin interaction. There will be 4 of us (DH, myself, 2 DS). I assume the pictures are only at this interaction? I am guessing the 4 package would not be enough for us because we would not get a group shot then? Do you get a lot of candid shots if you get the digital included? What kind of frame? Normally I don't do picture packages like this....but with my kids growing up so fast and realizing we only have a few more years of these types of memories, definitely considering it.

when last we went - pre COVID - we took two first timers and got them the dolphin swim. We bought the 'all digital' package. The shots were of the dolphin swim only (there may have been some 'stock photos' too - in years past there were). There were 24 shots in all, 6 were 'group' the others split between the two. Each 'pose' had multiple exposures. You got a CD and once 'unlocked' you can copy or print away . . . p.s. I used an iPhone in a simple 'wet bag' to take video in the snorkel pool ... came out quite good if I say so ....

Pretty much the photographers are only during the tours at DC

Are the picture package prices per person or per group? Seems like those digital pictures are around $200. If that's per person, that becomes cost prohibitive. We've got a group of 12 of us coming.

We only had two dolphin swimmers and their pictures were on one CD at $200. I'd imagine it was grouped at checkin. There was no 'photopass' or the like it just 'happened' like magic! .... How many they group I dunno ......
