We are considering getting SW APs after a year off.
Can anyone tell what the passholder discount is for Discovery Cove in Sept. or Oct? We would not do the dolphin swim.
Thanks!

We paid $99 for our non Dolphin family member coming with us in December. That is the rate this year. Makes me mad, as it was $69 last year, and did not have as many blacked out dates. Oh well. We are going anyway.

Can u use the AP in San Diego and Orlando?

No. Each park has its own AP, although you could buy the Platinum version at any Busch park, and that gives you access to all Busch parks in the US for the calendar year. That is, all 2013 APs end on December 31, 2013.

I have Sesame Place's Super Grover Pass, which is a platinum AP, and gives me access and free parking at all Busch parks. Also gave me the discount on DC. I have no desire to go to Sesame Place, but of all the Busch park platinum APs, it's the cheapest for my family. We bought it at a 25% discount, that discount was running from Black Friday until the 1st of March.

That is the pass we had and will buy again. Right now it is $212 and good through 12/31/14. Usually it goes to about $157 the week before Thanksgiving. It is also good for the waterparks except Discovery Cove.

I did call today and the price should be $99 in September.

Great. I have heard that Sesame Place promotion for awhile. Buy today, enjoy rest of 2013 and all of 14. I think it's a great deal if you go alot to Sesame Place or use it at other Busch parks. We are doing SW in San Diego, the Aquadica in San Diego, and SW and Aquadica in Orlando and BGT this year, as well as DC. So, the price of the Super Grover was a decent price for us. I would buy it again when it is discounted.

Have a great trip. DC is such a nice place, even for $99, the price is not really any different than a one day ticket to the other parks, and you get all your food and beer and slushees included. A very relaxing day. The weather should be nice in September, though there may be some rain.

We went at the end of August 2 years ago, and got lucky. It rained for some time late in the afternoon, but since there was no thunder heard, no one got out of the water, and very few ran for cover. It was very warm, and we were wet anyway, and since you could always get a clean, dry towel, there was no need to get out of the rain. By the time we left, it had stopped raining and did not stop our enjoyment of the park.

Did you buy the pass for each member of your family?
What a deal with the $69 rate (I know, it is gone...:sad1: )

Yes, but only because we are going to so many Busch parks, and if I add up all the tickets for my family, even discounted, cheaper to get them passes too. With Universal, I have the preferred AP, but buy discounted tickets for my family, as we only go 3 or 4 days there.

I called today to make sure our date in September had the $99 rate and was told there would not be a passholder rate until November.

I didn't feel the gal yesterday was confident in what she told me so glad I checked.
