I know it's a long way off, we are not going till next May but my DH and DS would like to swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove. If I go and buy the non swim package would I still be able to watch them and take photos?

Yes you will be able to take photos, but the 'swim' groups are usually 'strategically' positioned with their backs to the dry land, but you still should be able to get some decent pics. We have been 4 times and found the DC photo pacakage is quite expensive and quite a lot of the time, not so good quality

Yes you can take pics and photos, there was rocks at the side where DD did her swim, and ideal for photos and video, and some people even paddled into the water in front of the rocks to take pics.

I managed to get onto the rocks and get some good pics of DW & DS.
1st visit we did we all swam and I didn't like their photography so 2nd visit I decided to do it.

Fab photos. We're going in 2 weeks time and (on the advice of other disboarders) we are going to split our party for the swim so we can hopefully get some good photos
