Everything served at DC is tasteless and lame!

The breakfast is pastries that taste like the ones you get on a really cheap Chinese buffet. Absolutely tasteless. The did have fresh squeezed OJ. My son and I took one bite of the breakfast pastries and threw them away.

The snack hut has churros, frozen fruit bars, chips, packages of oreos, chips ahoy, lorna doone, etc. For drinks they have coffee, soda, water, beer, and wine coolers. I thought it was pretty lame. How about some hotdogs, sandwiches or something substantial to eat? You are burning a lot of calories at DC.

The dining hall offers about 6 entrees. Extreme tastelessness served here! I got the burger. It was by far the worst burger of the trip, possibly of all time. The rest of my family got different things, and no one was happy. My son ended up eating churros only, and by the end of the day, he was churroed -out. Other options were salmon, chicken, hot dog, pasta primavera (I think that was all).

I was very disappointed with the food. There were people getting very drunk also.

I did enjoy the swimming and birds though.

I didnt think the burger was very good either, but they will let you try anything.
I had lots of strawberries.
I thought the food was ok, its a 100 times better than sea world food, ive rarely found anything I like at sea world, even my shamu bar had freezer burn on it.
I usually wait to eat when we get back on WDW property.

I like the snacks and the fact that they have snack size packages, perfect for stashing in your locker.

I want to be in the water so much so food really is the last thing on my mind,we skiped the breakfast, had lunch 15 minutes before the dolphin swim, and occasionally raided the snack bar.

Next time you should do the Twilight Program-the food was SO GOOD! Blackened scalops, huge shrimp, steak, pasta station, beautiful dessert room, etc.

I loved the food! I thought the pastries were delicious, soft and fresh. I had the burger and it was fresh - the guy flipped it from the grill into the bun and my fries were hot. Dessert was DELICIOUS cheesecake.

I didn't have ANY snacks, I really don't see why you feel DC needs to offer hotdogs etc. We were stuffed after lunch and the pastry at breakfast was plenty to keep us going until 1pm. We could have had more than one pastry too, if we wanted.

Discovery Cove has more than just hamburgers ya know. So does Sea World. I am personally a fan of the chicken and black bean salsa, as well as the grilled salmon pesto.
It was counter service food, but much better than any thing disney has to offer. I find that most people who love disney are not very open to a lot of other choices, and tend to stick with the things they like at disney such as the hamburgers and hot dogs........just an observation.
As for the snacks, the ones they serve are the best for the activities you are doing....lot of carbs, lot of sugar. Sandwiches, while they will give you loads of carbs will also weigh you down and make you feel like not doing anything afterwards. Hence the light breakfast....they even say "continental breakfast" on their site and their brochures.
And yeah, the food is ALL YOU CAN EAT. They encourage you to come back and try everything. And yeah, people were drinking...they have free beer, and wine coolers. If they had free beer and wine coolers at disney they'd be drinking too.

We had no complaints about any of the food during our day there last October

The food was great

I think the food at DC is fine... It's nice that you can get something else then burgers and hotdogs. Like you said, you use your body a lot, so you need proper food, and that's not hotdogs.

My family had no problem with the food at DC. We thought it was good. I didn't have any snacks as I was too busy swimming. I hardly got out of the water!

I personally find Disney's burgers and hotdogs tasteless. Infact, the burgers taste processed!

Yes, all food is included with your admission.

And in response to the OP, I liked the food at Discovery Cove. I wouldn't say it's the best in the world, but it is definitely better than most food you find at theme parks. And plus, you can eat all that you want, so if you get something you don't like, just go back and get something else.

Food was just fine. Between breakfast and lunch we only got small snacks a couple times, just not hungry. Breakfast I believe we had plenty of fresh fruit, muffins, yogurt, juice, some pastries. Plenty.

Lunch samples below -11 was plenty to choose from, especially when you add to that salads, sides, desserts etc.
Cheeseburger, Hot Dog, Grilled Chicken, Pasta Primavera, Lobster Salad, Turkey Sandwich, Mac & Cheese plus, Salmon with Pesto, another kind of sandwich, plus two more dishes in back I can't tell and don't remember. You can see the grills and they were cooking many items to order.
