Hi
We are going 11/4. 3 of us are low carbers. No wheat, no sugar. Is there anything we can eat? I don't mind a Bunless burger, but one won't be enough(swimming makes me crazy hungry). Will they let me have more if I skip the fries/sides? Veggies? Anything edible for breakfast? Bacon? I'm not big on eggs, but a skimpy serving of bacon won't cut it. I'm sure none of the snacks will work. Any way they'll let me bring in protein bars if I say I'm gluten sensitive(i am)

Do they still let you keep the mask and snorkel? We were there a number of years ago and they did.

Thanks

There were salads. They also have pulled pork. I did not see bacon for breakfast but ham and maybe sausage. They had scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, and meat. Also French toast sticks and pastries and fruit.
We were allowed to keep snorkel last week. We had been before a couple years ago and turned masks in. DH took ours both to turn in this time, so I don't know if it changed.

We went to DC every August 2010-2013 and they allowed us to take our masks and snorkels each time. The first time I tried to give them back but was told that they would just be thrown away. DD14 has several food allergies and they were very helpful with that. I don't think there is a limit on what food you can have from the restaurant. You walk through a line and point, at least that is what I did. DW and I are also dairy intolerant, so just asked for the proteins we wanted and avoided what carbs we couldn't have. I also cannot remember the breakfast meats, but I do remember that they had at least 3 choices for proteins for lunch. Maybe someone with a better or fresher memory than mine can inform us.

Each time we have gone to DC, they had us return the masks but we got to keep the snorkels.

As far as food goes, this thread might help:

And there is most definitely no limit on food. You can enjoy as much as you would like.

When we went in 2012 (2 times), they collected both the mask and mesh bag. At the point near the exit where you turned in strollers they had 2 people asking if anyone still had masks to turn in, so maybe people misunderstood they were to be turned in.
One of the times they sold old ones for $15 outside the place where you pick up pictures.
I would not count on keeping the mask. To be honest, they are not that great anyway.
