I am a bit concerned that I will lose my lenses during the dolphin swim,
also I would love to snorkle with the :fish: :fish: :fish: but again worried about the lenses,

Has anyone swam and snorkled with lenses in? was it okay ?

Thanks

Hi

When I was there (2005) they did have prescription masks you could borrow free of charge (may have been a refundable deposit). Just went to the shop and told them long/short sighted. They had various strengths so a bit of trial and error and I was all set.

Cheers

Been to DC twice and both times swam with dolphins and snorkelled with my contact lenses in with no problem whatsoever. I wouldn't worry.

I've never been to DC, but I swim with my contacts in all the time. I never open my eyes underwater because I'm paranoid, but they're always fine. The worst that might happen is that they'll feel a bit dried out, like if you accidentally fall asleep in them- but you won't lose them. Just bring some drops to put in your locker.
