Yeah...where are the Oreo Bon Bons? Do you mean the deep fried oreos they used to have at Boma? Cuz if so...DANG RIGHT the OBB beats out the ZD, hands down.

Oreo bon-bons can be found at the Cape May buffet at the Beach Club.

It is an Oreo cookie, topped with about an inch of delectable chocolate mousse, they spray painted with chocolate!!!

They are never rubbery - like Zebra Domes can be, if they're left out too long.

What I'd do for a plate of them right now!!!!

Oh, ok!...Well, I still vote for the oreo bon bons, simply because I agree about the ZDs...they were not as great as I expected them to be. I am staying at the BCV next trip (Sept) so I will put my theory to the test then!!!

Oreo BonBons are the best IF you like Oreo/Cookies and Cream things. The mousse inside is actually whitish and has cookies bits in it. Zebra Domes are chocolate/Kahlua-y and are only really great if they are kept cold enough. I love them both but I think the Oreo ones are the best.

Okay, I made these tonight and they are AWESOME! They are like Zebra Dome parfaits.
I drizzled a little extra Kaluha on the shortcake bottom and added a pinch more instant espresso because I like a strong mocha flavor.
They were super easy and took my DH and I back to AKL for a short time this evening. Enjoy!

The Oreo Bon Bons, for sure. The Zebra Domes have a weird gelatinous quality that skeeves me out ... doesn't stop me from eating a bunch but it is there.
