Discovering DVC timandlesley style-A PTR, 19 days TRIP REPORT LINK PG.119!!!!!

That is so exciting that your APs arrived!! I tried to talk my DH into getting them this year since they would probably save us money, but he wouldn't go for it! I need to get him on the Dis STAT! :)

Can't wait to see your purchases. I was looking on Disney Shopping last night. :)

Congrats on the flight tickets and deal on hotel and parking!!!! YEAH! So sad that the Delta flight didn't work out---I'm guessing there was nothing comparable at Dayton either? I bet that was so exciting opening up the package for the annual passes!!!! Looking forward to seeing your Disney outlet finds!

Glad you all enjoyed your Gatlinburg trip! That spider incident is too funny! DH and I both grew up going to Gatlinburg a lot and he wants to go back ( I keep insisting we save the money for the mouse!)

I’ve never tried the Park Grill before, our must-go is The Peddler (which I believe is a sister restaurant to Park Grill). We’ll have to try Park Grill next time! We also go to Applebarn every time we head that way....your mini TR had me craving apple fritters with apple julep!

Woo-hoo on booking airfare and getting your AP vouchers!! Doesn’t it make the day go by easier to know that there is a WDW trip in the not-so-distant future? :cloud9:

That is great you found another good airfare deal and the hotel stay with parking is awesome!!

Disney Mail is the best!!!

I hope Luke is feeling better soon:goodvibes

 I finally sat down and read your mini TR! What a wonderful weekend y'all had!

My inlaws always spend a long weekend in a cabin in Brown County, IN and we always crash there for a day. Just so relaxing. Maybe I can talk Matt into a little family getaway for ourselves... just seems so nice to get away from it all, yet still be close to lots of fun stuff!

LOVED the picture of Luke by the fire. He is going to KILL you for that someday!:rotfl2:

Will we get to see pictures of your Disney outlet purchases?!!

Thanks for sharing your family fun!

I'm glad the paper link chain will help Lauren in the long car rides. Great mini-TR! My cousins live in Chillicothe and head to Disney next week - aren't we all jealous?

OK... since we live about 8 minutes from the airport, I AM expecting a DisMeet before you guys head out! There are lots of great restaurants withing driving distance....:rolleyes1

Gotta head back and read your Gatlinburg (I can't spell that) mini report. Be back later!!!
You know we really SHOULD plan that. A dinner, or maybe a swim in our pool at the hotel, we'll have to work out the details. We'll arrive on Sat. the 20th : )

Great news! So glad you found a great deal. That's always a bonus! Yeah!
Thanks!

I know, I was so thrilled when that FED EX envelope arrived. Good luck with your DH!!! I will be posting our purchases tonight

Thanks, we are so excited about it. Dayton was about 300 round trip:scared1:

Thanks, we really did have a fun time. We have never tried the Peddler, maybe next time. I know, when I'm planning for Disney I'm happy : )

Thanks, we're so excited. I did the math, and the amount of money for parking alone for the time we're gone in the Express lot is about 30 dollars MORE than we are paying for the hotel, parkin, free breakfast and shuttle!

Glad you enjoyed it. We are going for an overnight in Brown County for my mom's b-day in a few weeks. I highly recommend Gatlinburg, i'm sure you guys would like it! Luke posed for that pic . . like father like son : )
Yes, pics of our purchases coming up next.

So, as promised the following are what we found at the outlet. We got everything here (plus a b-day gift for a neighbor and a toy for Lauren) for $115.00!!!!
This bag was at the counter at checkout for 2.99, I couldn't resist:

Another one for Lauren that she can wear now:

I got two shirts:

I wish they had more, but they didn't have much in my size.
Here is more for Lauren:

Tim found a nice pirate and Donald Duck Tee:

And this is our favorite. It was 16.00 but it is such a cool shirt. The lady says they make them for the whole famiy, Tim picked one up, it's their first organic shirt line:

So that is what we scored, SOOOOOOO exciting!!!

I just found us all great CROCS on sale in the CROCS online outlet, they had the Disney Caymans for kids for 14.99, some great ones for Tim and I and some cute Scutes Sandals for Lauren. When they arrive I'll post those as well.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!
Lesley

Great purchases! Does the organic shirt have a different feel to it? Is it a thicker cotton?

Oh my gosh, I bought the same bag!! My daughter wanted it to bring stuff down to the pool!! Love the shirts!! The green shirt is a great concept. Our store didn't have any.

have you tried on the mickey tank yet? i got a pink one like that and i loved it when i saw it but on me it looked really stupid! the rope thing just sort of hung off my shoulders. but i have really slender shoulders (which that was true for my bottom half! ) so that may be why it did that to me.

i saw a bunch of the organic stuff in the stores at WDW in september and december. it's all so cute but in the parks it's like double what you'd pay for the non-organic stuff. so i didn't get any of it.

WOW, you scored a lot of great purchases.

Those green shirts are so cool

Love them all, but really like the one that Lauren can wear now, princess one...too cute:goodvibes

LOVE the purchases!!! Those shirts are great! I would love to have all of those. That tank is SO cute. I hope you don't have the same problem as Punkin.

I love all the new shirts! Doing good getting things off your Disney checklist! I still have to book airfare :sad2:.

Hi, Lesley!
Your plans are coming along so nicely! It's getting closer and closer everyday!

I really LOVED reading about the Gatlinburg trip. It's funny that we had planned on going up that same weekend, but decided to cancel for the sake of saving money. My husband has family about 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge, and we'v been up there LOTS of times, and I NEVER knew that there was a Disney Outlet up there! I'm glad you told us though...that's even more reason to go back, right!!!:thumbsup2

Can't wait to read more!

Great finds at the outlet store!!! You guys are going to look so good down there....and that's what really counts, right?!?!?! ;o)

I love all your disney buys. Really cute shirts. Love the excitement of all the plans coming together. Don't you get pins when you get annual passes?
I don't blame you for flying. We always drive, but it's 9.5 - 10hrs with a couple quick stops, not bad. Especially since you're doing a few other long drives soon.
We're only a month out to our next drive to the world:cool1:
Have your guys ever done a fishing trip while you were at Disney?
