So sorry to hear about Tim's knee. Your poor family has definitely had it's share of troubles lately. Just keep thinking about your 15 day disney trip ... it will be hear before you know it.

My DH had ACL surgery several years ago in September and was able to do Disney for 4 day in December!!! (There is the light at the end of the tunnel - if he does his PT as recommended - he should recover quickly)

As my DH now says that knee is much better than the other one!!!

Well............. Tim does have to have surgery. He has a torn miniscus or ACL for sure so we find out more on Friday after we get MRI results back. Please pray for him and his recovery and for me in my insanity of working 2 jobs, arranging child care for Lauren and care for Tim and keeping our household running, especially during these crazy busy holiday times!

I'm so sorry about Tim's knee - really a hard time to have it. My DH is recovering from that surgery - 2 months out now. It was a day surgery - arthroscopic - easy surgery, slow recovery. He was on crutches for a few days, then limped for a month. He still isn't supposed to kneel or climb stairs, but he does a little of both. He also works out, so not being able to run is driving him crazy. I hope Tim's surgery goes well. I will be praying.

You asked about my dad - he is doing great! He is less dizzy, getting up with a walker, unhooked from everything. He will probably go home tomorrow.

It really stinks about the ADRs. Do you do TGM? The forums over there have some really active people who update right away if anything chanes.

I will be on board for sure for this TR! I read your last TR and I loved it. Luke and Lauren are so awesome and Tim is absolutely hilarious! I can't wait to hear more, and 15 days! We're so jealous!

Hi Guys,
For those of you who know me and have been on previous trip's with us you know I post here often ALL the time and it pains me to not have done so recently. Things have been crazy around here to say the least.

Tim is having surgery on his knee tomorrow at 1pm so please say a prayer for him.

I have taken a lot of pictures lately of fun Christmas activities we have done (breakfast with Santa, Reindog parade in Mt. Adams Cincinnati- JUST WAIT til' you see those photo's). As things settle down after Tim's surgery I promise to post these updats. And then we will be fast approachiing our HUGE summer trip which we have lots of plans yet to accomplish, dining, flights, etc. etc.

I will update you on how Tim's surgery goes soon. Thanks for hanging in there with us.

Thanks so much for your concern about Tim and myself, it has been crazy but I am FINALLY starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for the AKL ressie congrats, we are sooooooooooo excited about that. Wish it was sooner!

Hello everyone,
Thanks sooooooooooo much for all of your prayers, well wishes and thoughts for Tim and I during this crazy time. He had his surgery on his knee yesterday and things went well. He is still laid up but we are hoping he is able to bare weight on it by the end of the week and back close to normal by Christmas, I'll keep ya posted.
Guess what came in the mail yesterday that made me smile
OUR AKL CONCIERGE RESSIE CONFIRMATION FROM DVC FOR NEXT NOVEMBER!!!!! I am soooooooooo excited and sooooooo looking forward to our family trip in June and couples only trip in November. Now if they could get the dining reservation system up and running this month we could make our ressies for our June trip.

So..........we've been having fun despite all we're going through here. A few weeks ago I went with Lauren on her preschool field trip to the Big Tree Plantation, here are some pics from that:

Luke had his school music program the other night, it was awesome, here is one shot of that, he is in the second row from the top, can you spot him?:

This year Luke was sooooooo sad that our breakfast with santa we always go to had an age cutoff and he was over it this year (I hate this policy, it should be at parents discretion, how do you explain that to a child who still believes??). So, Lauren and I went and my mom took Luke out for a special morning since Tim was laid up. Here are a few pics from that, my beautiful girl telling her wants and needs to the big guy:

The most fun was the Reindog parade that took place in Mt. Adams this past Saturday, it was sooooooooooooooooo fun! The kids and I had a blast (we went with my mom) , we are obviously animal lovers and this parade was a riot, we just laughed and laughed - my mouth hurt from smiling so much. Here are some highlights:

This dog stopped in the middle of the parade to sit down on Luke's lap and give him a kiss, Luke was LOVING THIS!!!!!

And for good measure, I had to throw this picture in, this dog was MASSIVE, reminded me of Turner and Hooch, the drool was INSANE, his owner kept wiping it with his jeans : )

This was such a fun parade and will definitely be a new tradition for us, SUCH FUN!!!! I took about 50 plus pictures but those were some of the highlights, hope you enjoyed them.

I am off tomorrow with a personal day to go to Lauren's Christmas program at school, it should be great so expect more pictures. Then two more days of work and I'm on BREAK!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
