Discover the Magic (children's show)

We are on the Nov. 6th Magic cruise and can't wait. My DS 8 and DS 11 really want to participate in the show. However, after reading the past posts I'm wondering if my 11 year old can join in. He will be so disappointed if he can't. Can anyone answer this for me? I would truly appreciate it.

Also, does anyone know if there is a clock in the lab? Just wondering if I should pack a watch for him.

Again, THANKS!:sunny:

All kids can participate. I think I saw a few from the Stack there as well.

Edited to add - pack a watch. Not many clocks anywhere on board.

Nope -- not just you! I saw LOTS of tears that evening, and when we watched the videotape my dh took of the show, you could hear me sniffling in the background.

It was amazing to see all those kids up there, and amazing for me to see my baby (who's 4) looking so grown up.

thegales,

THANKS for the great news! You made my day and my son's! He's a very young 11 year old and I don't want to miss the memories just because of his age! I'm sure I'll be tearing up while they are up on stage. I took them to the Luau at the Poly last March and when they went up on stage there to do a hula dance, I cried. So, I better pack tissues for this one!

Again, Thanks!

We just got off the Magic yesterday:sad1: Our daughter was in the show. The kids get to keep the grad ears and the T shirt.

what age groups do this show? my son will be 4 at the time?

All organized kids groups, with the exception of Flounders, participate. The only requirement is that they be present at their respective club/lab/stack between 4:00 and 4:30 on the last day.

For such a short show it was pretty sophisticated. They made the show like a big production. They used most of the stage space b/c of all the kids and the moving reel w/ the pics of all the kids on the screen was just another Disney touch. If you're a sap like me, take tissues with you or you'll be sniffling for a while. Enjoy your trip! ::yes::
