Discover Cashback Redemption for Gift crads- Am I missing something?

So I was looking at my Discover Gift card redemption deals just to see what I could get after the 5% bonus category is done next month. I noticed that there was a deal for AMC gift cards where for $20 in points you could get a $25 gift card a popcorn voucher, or for $45 in points you could get just a $50 gift card. What I'm wondering is, wouldn't it be a better deal to redeem two $20 for $25 offers, because you'd get $10 free instead of $5 and you'd also get the popcorn vouchers? Am I missing something?

Well that's new, it used to be 2 ticket vouchers and the popcorn which was a $25 value or the $50 gift card. But indeed it is a gift card with a popcorn voucher, however, the description says it's a $20 gift card with the popcorn voucher which is what I think makes it the $25 value they're advertising.

Still seems to be the better deal as you're only spending $40 to get $50 in worth, versus the $45 needed for $50. Especially if your small popcorns are more than $5 to begin with.

Love that Discover offers discounted gift cards to purchase with points. I'm getting 5% cash back off purchases and using that cash to buy gift cards discounted 10-20%. Win-win!!
