Discover Card & Walgreens gift cards...

Didn't they have them before? I have been hoarding my cashback bonus awards, and would have bet that they had them! Wanted to trade them in for Disney cards in store. ACK!

I don't remember them ever having Walgreens. I do remember CVS but the trade is $45 for $50 so it isn't really worth much.

If you did want to apply the money to your Disney trip I would recommend using your discovercard to pay for the trip since they have a 5% travel/hotel reward (that's now thru March) for up to $800 in purchases (you can sign up online or over the phone) - $40 cashback. Apply your current rewards to the balance and then also apply the $40 in bonus awards to the balance.

yes I don't remember it either but be careful about that reward bonus and see what catagory it posts under....I have had trouble in the past with that...I get my AP when they have the 5X cash back on theme park tickets and it didn't register but I had emailed and got credit. but I will check on that since I go in March...

I've never seen Walgreens but you could always cash in on a Discover gift card. You don't get the extra money (like buying it for $20 but getting a $25...which I love) but you could use the Discover card on the Disney trip. Meals, souvenirs, gas if you are driving, etc. Just a thought.
